I am so sick and tired of people saying throw out everything that we have done with Bledsoe and the only numbers that matter are after Romo started, TO was dropping balls with Bledsoe and is dropping them now with Romo. I can careless how he feels, as long as he is producing on the field like he does. I admit they are not like his previous years or what we expected out of him, but they are fitting great with system and that is all we need for now. I am amazed at the way BP is handling the situation, to me that is just another sign of an expreinced great coach. He is not bad mougthing him even try to take a swing at the subject, he completly ignores it like we should.
Throwing out the team's production with one of the worst QBs in the league doesn't seem unreasonable to me. Yes, he made everyone bad. He made the receivers worse, the O-line worse, the defense worse. That's the nature of the QB position.

production doesn't always equal skill, Troy hambrick had a nice lookin average but I woudln't trust him to baby sit my dog let alone carry the load as a RB.

TO looked much more impressive playing for other teams than he has here, He yards after catch are what everyone talks about but that just hasn't impressed me yet this year.
Well, I'll take production any day of the week. If someone produced top-5 numbers, but you don't consider them to have top-5 skill, I'll take it.

The topic didn't deserve another thread. The statement I replied to deserved the response it received. Get it?

Hey man I didn't think someone would click on the same thread that just moments earlier said was just another thread.

You'll probably be doing a lot of posting in this thread after saying it was just another thread. Get it?

What does me click on the thread and reading the replies have to do with it not deserving another thread?

That's sort of the point. People shouldn't have to click on three different threads to talk about the same subject.

As good as his stats are, they would've been much better if he could hang onto the ball.

Guys like Torry Holt, Steve Smith, Marvin Harrison, Chad Johnson, etc. don't drop those balls in those situations. TO is not top 5 anymore, just my opinion.

Well obviously they wanted to since its got so many responses in a short amount of time. I guess your in the minority though. Get it?

best post ive read in along time, i mean why does he get all this media type attention? he isnt a chad johnson anymore, TO's best days are behind him, sure he commands a double team, so did Joey Galloway, but with his production this year, he shouldnt be much of a headline at all anymore. he isnt that damn good anymore.

CC if you look at his numbers they are right up there with anybody's.

He's not absolutely dominating but this is the 1st time in his career he hasn't been in the West Coast Offense and has still put up pretty good numbers.

He is a threat at all times. He's still big and he's still fast and is the last guy in the league corners want to tackle in the open field as far as receivers go.

His drops have been the big thing this year but guess who's second in the league in drops this year? Steve Smith and i'd say he's still a top 5 receiver.

The same is happening with this story from Rick Herrin. Did you watch the press conference? It was plain to see that the comments Parcells was making regarding Payton and Keith Davis that there was no major tiff. But if you read that article that's not what is being insinuated. There is nothing in that article except someone trying to create a story and stir the pot.

I don't think the concern is about Parcels relationship with Payton. I think it is about the implied collusion between NFL teams to keep the salaries down. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Players Association jump all over this. You have to wonder why Bill spoke about this.

Of course people want to talk about it. It's just silly to talk about the SAME SUBJECT in multiple threads.

Well it was just like he said, Allot of owners fabricate things to steal talent and not pay player's, That is why I welcome no SALARY CAP, I don't care if its not good for the game, Its good for my team, and alls fair in LOVE and War!
If the Yankees can do it why shouldn't we!! I'm sick of the NFL mediocre teams.

I think the everyone will just ignore his comments, and just focus on winning. Most of anything will be over hyped by the media anyway.

i can see your point, but for all the earth breaking news, and the media overkill he gets, i just dont think he is that big of an impact WR anymore, he isnt a Chad Johnson or a Steve Smith. a couple of years ago he was injured by RW, and the Eagles still went on and made it to the Superbowl. the way the media covers him, you would think he was a player that is 10 times better than Micheal Jordan was.

He is a big impact but not like he was.

Notice we never really throw him the deep ball? He'll go up and get it if you just throw it up to him but we never really do that.

I still believe in TO and still think he has all the skills to take over any game vs any corner out there.

I think he impacts this offense tremendously and when he makes a big play it juices up this team.

I don't think we've seen the best of TO yet and I also don't think our offense has clicked on all cylinders yet either.

As far as TO being a top 5 receiver I think there is no doubt you can't find 5 better receivers than him.

First of all I love TO, I think he's a funny guy, and one of the best if not the best receiver in the game.

A lot of these things that has happened to him are just stupid and any other player would have never felt the pressure from the media for doing them.

But why would he choose this time of year when we are on a hot streak to do an interview with Irvin complaining about how he's not happy and someone leaked information on him so he just doesn't trust anybody?

He claims he has dropped a lot of balls because he's not happy. BS dude.

Just when you think everything is going good in Dallas TO has to start with this crap.

It's clearly nothing more than wanting attention.

Our team is to hot and to good right now for Terrell to start complaining about crap that happened in training camp and early September.

For 10 mill a year he shouldn't be having these problems.

For 10 mill a year you shouldn't go on ESPN and air out your frustrations.

That was your problem in Philly right TO? Well please stop finding things to get upset about to get your face on TV.

Why TO why?!!?

Because he's sick.

Anything with TO in the title gets merged.

I love the merge feature but I think its abused on this site.

Now I have to hunt for people replying to my thread a long with someone else replying to someone elses.

Would have saved you some time if you would not have started a new thread but instead used one already on the board.

But starting too many new threads on the same topic is abused on this site. lol

Well considering this thread was talking about Sean Payton and Bill I didn't think it had anything to do with what TO said with Irvin.

I dont know why you put my TO thread in something that is discussing Sean Payton and Bill Parcells.

But what ever.
