Which receiver didn't look terrible for 3 and a half quarters tonight? Seriously?

Dez dropped an easy one, Williams dropped two, Beasley fumbled, Witten ran a poor route that led to an INT. I'm calling out the dang group for not being prepared mentally.

Dez "Spider-Man" Bryant couldn't haul in a 3rd down pass that was slightly below his belly button. We're here making threads on a single WR? Unbelievable to me.

I have been saying it since the day he was drafted that he's a body catcher. I'm not saying he can't play in the league as a body catcher, because he can, but Romo needs to hit him in the gut with this throws, not the hands.

Hard way to learn !!!

The body catching doesn't matter. Catching the ball matters, period. Doesn't matter how you do it, just get it done, and make it repeatable.

But you can't body catch a ball over your head. When a receiver has a small catch radius, they are rarely open in today's NFL except on short passes.

Not even remotely concerned about Terrence Williams. He is what he is, but what he is is pretty good.

I find these threads odd.

Williams can catch away from his body. How would he have made the third down catch in Seattle otherwise?

Everyone one of our receivers needs to step up now. Also, they need to hold on to the damn ball!

Me not liking him, won't change the fact he's the teams number 2. Now the teams number 1 for at least a few weeks.

I always told people, the body catching will limit you. Especially in tight coverage. He dropped the ball too many times because he tries to hard to bring it in. He's not use to catching it with his hands.

Although I'm glad he got that PI called, it wasn't really that big of an interference, and if he learned to extend more and use his hands he would of made that play.

He's the number one now. He needs to be more consistent, and not have to have separation to make a play.

Especially with Dez out. He has to change, and be more aggressive.

Williams only had 1 drop. On the the other 2 the defender got his hands on the ball to prevent the catch.

On the 1 true drop Romo needed to lead him more but couldn't because of a 2nd defender. The camera angle makes it difficult to see it.

Yeah, we're not going to replace Dez by asking Williams to play like him. We're going to be far less explosive offensively, but like Romo said during the press conference, we will have to build around the strengths of what we have.

And while no one on our offense reaches Dez's level, the likes of Witten, Williams, Beasley, Dunbar etc do have strengths to rally behind.

I think I'm more worried about street. Dude really hasn't made any plays since being drafted. We've tried going to him and he never seems to come up with a play. That was a huge mistake tonight and one he cannot make moving forward

He was popped pretty hard and may not have gotten the first down anyway, but I agree he has to hold on to that. I'm pulling for him.

The defender came in fast and put his helmet right on the ball. Most players would have dropped it in that exact situation.

Dez dropped a ball that was right in his hands and should have been an easy catch.

If you insist that T-Will change, you're just setting yourself up for disappointment. He is who he is and the team has to play to his strengths and try to minimize being hurt by his weaknesses. Just like everyone else.

Twill doesn't have the skill set to be a number one receiver in the NFL.

Hell, I'm not sure he's got the skills to be a 2. No hands.
