I can't think of 1 guy that T. Will reminds me of to be honest.

I guess he is like a poor mans Randy Moss but that would just be Alvin Harper right?

I think he's already better than Harper ever was.

Old school. Tony "Thrill" Hill.

It's odd to me that this is the TD that has gotten people to notice his speed.

He's done the same thing a number of times in his career, including against both DET and GB in the playoffs. I think he took a slant or similar play to the house another time too, maybe against Denver.

I agree I only posted the clip because this was the most recent TD. Nice rout and great run after watch all without Dez on the field so anyone claiming that Williams is only capable when Dez is in the game are pretty much wrong. Williams produces because he is a very good WR in how own right

He's not similar to Randy..Randy used to Moss people...Williams doesn't Moss anyone

I agree, Moss was a special WR early on in his career. Did not matter if he had 2 or 3 guys on him he could out run them or out jump them and make spectacular plays. Williams as a #2 has made several big catches for the Cowboys. The role Williams has he gets it done and I think entering year 3 can do even more.

Really? How so?

I guess I thinking more body built and speed.
Harper wasn't fast. He was thicker and larger than T. Williams.
Kevin Williams was more of a scooter, so to speak. He was also quick like T. Williams.

We worry so much about running back, and I just don't see how teams will stop this offense. Williams' emergence only solidifies that.

Another example on why aren't crossing routes much more a part of the offense with our receivers.

There is a lot of upside with him and no doubt he will contribute. I feel that Beasley will outdo him this year.

I would not be surprised if Beasley had more catches considering the kinds of routs he is asked to run. Williams middle and deep routs will not get as many throws his way but those big plays down field make a big difference.

That was a deep in route and he was like the 3rd read. Romo just liked how the defense was playing it and had all the time he needed to throw it.

Which is fine, but if you look last year many of out big plays were crossing routes, the offensive does not use it enough because if done correctly you get a lot of natural rubs especially against man/zone coverages.

Don't understand why so many have been down on Twill. We've seen a number of threads over the months critical of him with many wanting him replaced. I've defended him because he fills a role and is a terrific run after the catch receiver. He's been clutch as we saw during the Seattle game and during the playoffs last season. He does disappear for stretches but he shows up for the big games. He doesn't catch a lot of balls but when he does it's usually big plays that result in TD's. He's the Cowboys current day Alvin Harper.

I don't get it, either. He's pretty much the perfect complementary WR to Dez. Good team guy, makes clutch plays, makes room for guys like Beasley and the TEs to get their receptions, too, and then he just scores touchdowns. What's not to like?
