I have yet to see someone give an example of TO getting handled at the LOS. Where did this myth come from anyway? Almost every TO hater says this because some *respected* poster said it. You can hate TO all day but him having trouble getting off jams is a flat out joke and nobody on this site can give examples. Guaranteed!

The best release he could get would be a release from the Cowboys.

I'm sure someone could find an example. It happens to every receiver on occasion.

Every WR struggles with being jammed. Its why the Patriots had so much success against the Colts when they won their Super Bowls.

But it can't happen as much now because the rules are so tight.

Im counting on responses like that. The other people will just ignore it because they know how dumb they sound. Never let emotions cloud your judgement. Everybody on this site knows the only way to jam TO is with safety help. All recievers have trouble getting off a jam with safety help. Some of you need to learn football 101

No, what im referring to is people saying TO fell off because he cant get off the jam anymore. As if he hasnt been doing this for more than a decade.

You've got to be a little objective too...he probably does struggle a little more now with the jam. I would think that he's closer to normal when it comes to that at this point in his career than at any previous time.

TO said getting off the jam is all technique. Add on his strength and speed (ask lito sheppard about that lost step) its crazy to me that people say that. People claim to hate TO so much but in his book he says he loves it when people say hes falling off. So congratulations TO haters, he will be training even harder. Stick to legitimate gripes like his hands. Dont start making stuff up to help the guy you hate. lol

Whoever said it is who im referring to. Its alot of people on here who said it too. Why? Who knows. Sure isnt based on games. I hear posters say this but never a respected person involved in the NFL. They talk about his hands and he didnt run the best routes. Things i knew about him before he came here. But getting off a jam? Please

Where did this suddenly come from? When was the last time anyone on this forum even seriously disgusted his ability to get off a jam without safety help? You just woke up and all the sudden wanted to bring up this argument when it hasn't even been mentioned in a serious discussion in a while?

So what kind of example would you want?
A video?
You speak about football 101 but then your comments sound like you dont really know much at all about football.
You do realize that a receiver getting jammed at the line is only a second or 2 long? I hope you also realize that the purpose of a jam is not to tackle the receiver but to get him disrupted from his route. Or to slow his route down by a second and a half while your defense gets pressure on the QB.

I actually like TO's game. I think his performance is not due to his age.

However, you sound like a child who is home sick from 7th grade and decided to use his computer for something other than spank material.

Then in one of your last post you sound like someone thats just trying to argue when everyone else stopped listening a long time ago.
You act like TO working out harder and playing better will get under the skin of real dedicated cowboys fans. We all hope he does. And hope he kissed the superbowl trophy next season.

Carry on with you aggressive argument. Your friends will be home from school in a few hours so you will have someone to play Halo with.

I wouldn't say every WR...You ever see someone jam Brandon Marshall Andre Johnson Larry Fitz or Anquan Boldin?

Actually nobody brought up safety help. They jusr said he has trouble getting off a jam period. And why does it matter if its a random topic? The next time the hate squad has a TO meeting this wont be mentioned again because its garbage. Sorry

Ok here is your proof.
Here is pieces of an article written by espn's matt mosley that talks about the blueprint to defend TO. Press coverage aka Jamming him at the line.

So now what about that guarantee you made earlier.

http://myespn.go.com/blogs/nfceast/0-5-93/Audibles--NFC-East-Week-11-preview.html

The Cowboys have hinted at tweaks they've made to the offense throughout the week. From what I've been told by sources at Valley Ranch, those tweaks include a lot more no-huddle and more pre-snap motion for Terrell Owens. You might recall that it was Washington that provided the blueprint for how to defend T.O. in press coverage. The good news for the Commanders is that cornerback Shawn Springs should finally be able to play again. Springs, Carlos Rogers and Fred Smoot should give the Commanders a lot of options. And it looks like cornerback DeAngelo Hall will be ready to go.

Every WR can be jammed...

Even David Boston on Juice could be jammed. If a defender impedes the WR's progress in his intial release, that is considered a jam. A shove under the chest pad no matter how effective or ineffective is a jam.

JJT and JFE act like they know what they are talking about and Clayton and Sleazy Ed follow suit.

A video would be great. But it doesnt exist. And you sound angry man. I just posted this because i saw it mentioned alot and its false. And to that other guy, every reciever gets jammed. Whether it works is a different story. I remember Sam Madison trying to jam TO with no safety help. 2007 at Ny. Burnt to a crisp which is what will happen everytime you put TO one on one.
