Taco in an alternate universe

Does his lackluster performance disqualify him from being one of the hotboyz? Tank's definition of hotboyz doesn't seem to be sinking in for taquitos lindo.

What if Taco Charlton played up to the value of the 1st round draft pick that was used to acquire him? Would that have affected D Law's new deal? Would the Cowboys be SB champs right now? The FO has invested so much in this guy and has seen very little return on that investment. If we value 1st round draft picks then we need to recognize the difference Taco could have made to this team. Your thoughts?
Maybe we should play some AD&D too... You can be the dungeon master!

… but it's so painful. Taco should be doing better than he has. As a first round draft pick, I expect more.
Yeah, he fell off the radar. Last thing I remember about him was his sulking over playing time and JG saying he needed to do more in practice.

What if we had a head office that was committed to winning at all costs?

So after Taco doesn't get it together this coming season, we finally stop wasting time with him and extend quin's contract?
Yup. Let's extend Quinn now without ever seeing him play in a Cowboys uniform in an actual game. Give him all the monies.

That's not my bag, baby. You have at it. I just want that pick we used on Taco to payoff finally. Maybe he just needed a 3rd season to figure it all out. Fingers crossed.

Still have hope for Taco
DLAW had 0 sacks, then 8, then 1..before him 14 & 10.5
Its year 3 so maybe he fan develop

It was the exact with dlaw....literally the exact same draft position give a few spots and perceived expectations in the first few years....year 3 is when he started to turn the corner

Warhammer 40k. What's Eldritch horror?
I know 40K. Little toys you have to paint and then battle on a strategic map.
Eldritch Horror?

Look that bad boy up. It's fun as hell.
Just takes an hour and a half to set up and half an hour to break down.
Games can last 8 hours.

Year 3 Dlaw had 1 sack...year 2 he had 8

Charlton has entered my bust box.

No matter how much I wanted to hope he could get out of it, he won't.

I put Bobby Carpenter in this box. I put Mo Claiborne into this box.

There have been many in this box.

And nobody, nobody has emerged elsewhere to be successful.

How can a player be a bust after just 2 seasons? He wasn’t a top 10 pick and we all knew it would take time....this isn’t madden and real developing takes time

Hey you made good points. All is good in the alternative reality
Is this the same alternate reality in which a given team picks Hall of Famers with their first round picks every year and never misses .... ever?

Just checking.

Because some of our posters seem to think this alternate reality is actually achievable.

We would not be super bowl champs no matter how Taco played. That was easy.
