Let's not allow the media head this team to negativity...nor head this fan base to negativity. Until you see Dez pull out some knuckles on somebody....we are 7-1. Believe in Dez and stop finding someone/something to turn on so fast. Go 'Boys, Go Dak! Go Zeke!, Go Alfed!...Go Beaz!..Go Tony with your recovery.....and Go Dez!!.

This feeds right into Dez's issue. His focus is off. If he's not focusing on the next word coming out of Skip's mouth, he's giving us updates on Tony Romo's health status. His world would improve ten fold if he would focus on getting on the same page with Dak & the crew. He can start by shadowing the Bease with hopes that some of that magic will rub off.

Bease has embraced Dak and look where it has him at this point this season. Dez needs to adjust his focus.

Great commentary.
Why is he even engaging Skip?

He was asked about Romo. What should he have done? Clam up and act like Lynch? Then get himself fined? I swear you people look for reasons to trash on this guy. Maybe he's lost focus because so called fans like you are tearing him down at every opportunity.

Uh, how bout saying, "I want to talk about where we are now and how well we're doing."
It doesn't take much effort to address a matter without addressing it.

And if Dez has lost focus because of fan criticism, he doesn't need to be a part of this team if little distractions can derail his mindset so easily.

Actually, I think Dak will be very good for Dez. I think Dak will talk to him in a constructive way. And I think you're going to see Dez's production increase.

Normal people hate to be lied on. Doesn't matter where the lie comes from. Someone tarnishes your name you defend it. Happens all the time on this site. Dez feels he's being lied on he should defend his name. Why? Because there are too many sheep who follow the media's agendas.

So Witten should have said the same thing i guess, when he did an interview and said "Romo will come back and surprise everyone bla bla bla."

Dez is not Witten. Dez has shown his buttons can be pushed; Witten has not shown the same propensity.

You have to know who YOU are and know who your "enemy" is and the tactics he uses to get under your skin.

Dez doesn't need to pay attention to Skip Bayless because it's OBVIOUS to Skip and everyone else that what Skip says bothers Dez.

You can't point to the guy who has a high tolerance to alcohol (compared to your low tolerance) and say, "Well, if HE gets to drink several shots, why can't I?" ;)

I agree. not trying to discredit cole at all. he's awesome and a key player. I just took issue with dez needing to learn from Beasley or have his "magic rub off" well I take it back, cole could actually show him a thing or two on route running lol.

Beasley does a better job at running routes and getting open. He can't outphysical guys like Dez and isn't the freak athlete he is so he's not going to have Dez stats. But I think there's plenty he can learn from Cole. Heck if Cole Beasley was 6'2 and had Dez's physical tools I think he'd be the better player. But then again that might take away from Cole's shiftiness.

How many first downs?

Quality of the receptions......

For their careers:

Dez Bryant: 428 receptions - 286 first downs (66.8%) Touchdowns 61 (14.3%) Fumbles 6 (1.4%) Targets 708 (60.5%)
Cole Beasley: 186 receptions - 114 first downs (61.3%) Touchdowns 15 (13.2%) Fumbles 4 (2.2%) Targets 268 (69.4%)

Seem pretty similar to me.

This whole need some have to put down one Cowboy player to build up another is old and tiring (though I know it won't stop, its just the nature of the beast). At the end of the day they are both Cowboy players and I am a Cowboy fan. And happy they are both Cowboys.

(Note: That rant wasn't directed at you... but some of the thread in general).

I wish Dez would worry more about catching the ball than what Skip has to say. Skip is paid a lot of money to stir the pot. That's his job description. Dez's job description is to catch balls and make plays, something he is lacking lately.

Perhaps his focus shouldn't be on so called fans like me. ;)

Tearing him down..Lmao. Is this the Dallas Cowboys or Emotionally Distressed Rehab?

If you're soft and you let people like Skip & the fans get into your head to affect your performance, you're not a true #1 WR in my 20/20 eyes.

Dez has talent but Dez is a weak minded player. Skipping out when he got hurt earlier this year is just one indication of the same. The monkey, the lawsuit over jewelry, the lawsuit over the damage to a senator's property, etc. are all just indicators that he really is a nice guy but really doesn't "get it".

He hasn't been the same since he got paid either. The sideline tirades, etc are just too rediculous to mention. Hopefully he will perform on the field again at an elite level at some point.

Skip pisses Dez off and Bryant speaks up
Skip pisses Troy off and Aikman speaks up

Skip never lets the truth get in the way of his story.

I have no problem with Dez posting that.

Q: Who "wins" when Bryant "strikes back" using social media to get "justice?"

A: Bayless

It would be hard to claim victory when your social media efforts stirs disagreement among those who monitor your thoughts and actions--disagreement which only provides the guy you dislike that much more publicity.

I hate the reality (ha!) television era. :(

I do like how dez Bryant is just walking to the bench and dak grabs him and goes hey come
Here I got you baby and dez is shaking his head like all day dak and they dap it up and the media runs it on a loop as if he's throwing a fit. If you wanna talk racism don't bring up how people treat kapernick. I've seen people get in the face of teen girls who refuse to stand for the flag. Bring up this and how dez automatically looks scary to people for some reason

Dez lost when he responded to a super troll with no credibility. He shouldn't have used the word "distraction" cause it implies Skip is actually distracting him.

Bryant is a street smart con man. He needs to worry about himself.
What exactly is this supposed to mean?
