Now that we are headed for a top ten pick. Who do you want from this list!?

Dez Bryant
Taylor Mays
Eric Berry
Russell Okung
Ndamukong Suh

I'm going with Dez Bryant. We have too many #2's on this team and Dezzy is too legit. He actually has speed and can change games. Roy would compliment him nicely.

Is it April 25th yet!!?

I really think there has been way better WR prospects out there than Bryant(my personal opinion) and I don't know that i've seen him in the top 5 in any mock draft and certainly not more than 1(if that) of the 10ish i've recently checked. He could really develop and I could be wrong, but he has long term project written all over him to me...which is why I don't think he's rated as even a top 10er by most.

To me, it's not even close. It's Eric Berry. In fact if we had the 1st pick I would want us to take Eric Berry...Obviously Mays or Berry could make our secondary...and I think either would start from second 1 and be a major major upgrade with still a lot of major upside on top. Sounds good to me.

It's cool. I respect your opinion on Dez, but why do you say project? I think he's one of the most polished WR's I've seen in college since Andre Johnson at Miami. IMO, they are the same player. Big fast physical recievers.

Eric Berry is a can't miss prospect.

3 big things...Johnson is bigger, maybe not by a whole lot but he's got him. Johnson is faster, actually Dez Bryant usually runs 4.55-4.6. He's not quite as fast as you think. Bryant still ain't the most polished route runner. Certainly not where Johnson was coming out of college. Actually at the time, he was kinda like Eric Berry is at safety...a can't miss. I think a better comparison of where Bryant is at in his game is Maclin. I'm not by any means saying they are similar...but I think Eagle fans would tell you it will take some time. And I expect him to get picked around the same range as Maclin and for him to take some time. And funny enough, I don't think he'll be a gamebreaker so much as a very dependable type eventually...A lot of teams don't even project him as a #1 reciever so much as the #2. Obviously time will tell, but of the 5 you listed he's the last i'd take and to be honest i'd rather have Benn at where you would have to take Bryant. That kid wasted his time going to illinois, he could have gone anywhere, but kudos to him for sticking it out and he's a lot more like Andre Johnson if you want that...

But i'm sticking to Gilyard in the 2nd. I think he will have every bit of an impact as Bryant would for way way less money.

At WR I think we should keep an out of for Golden Tate and Eric Decker. Dline Terrence Cody or Vince Oghobaase . Also don't want a RT we need a LT. I also like Myron Rolle a lot.

Eric Berry, Dez Bryant, Golden Tate are all part of my wish list. Of course we'll get none of them. But I like them all.

I would LOVE to get the best young LT (whom ever that is) in the draft. But that won't happen either.

He drafted a safety in the to 10 7 years ago. When's the last time he took a LT or even a 0-lineman in the first round?

I want a LT too but history says Jerry won't do it.

so you pass on these guys for a safety

sorry I don't

Bruce Campbell/OT/Maryland: 6-7 310

Campbell, one of the top junior left tackle prospects in the nation, held Clemson's dominant pass rushers in check during Maryland's unexpected victory on Saturday. The athletic blocker shut down Ricky Sapp, who is projected as a first round pick next April. Campbell also grades out as a first round choice when he enters the draft

and I like

Mike Williams, Syracuse (6-2, 204)

Syracuse wideout Mike Williams continued his strong play against South Florida on Saturday.

The play of Syracuse WR Mike Williams has been absolutely brilliant throughout the first five games of the year, and his performance Saturday vs. a talented South Florida defense has me wondering, is this guy the best wideout in college football? Williams not only has the size and speed to make plays vertically down the field, but his overall polish as a route runner has improved significantly under new head coach Doug Marrone. Plus, Williams has that X-factor to his game as he goes up and attacks the football as well as any receiver I’ve seen since Larry Fitzgerald. Williams had 13 catches for 186 yards and two touchdowns this past weekend and was consistently able to create substantial separation against highly rated senior corner Jerome Murphy. Williams will definitely be crashing the NFP Super 30 on Wednesday, and I can now see him potentially making a run at Oklahoma State’s Dez Bryant as the nation’s top wideout.

I think Eric Berry will be a great playmaking safety in the NFL. which is something we haven't had in a while. I also don't want anybody with the name of Mike Williams especially a wr.

Yes I would. Eric Berry type players come around once every ten years. The last one was Ed Reed. Before that,Ronnie Lott.

You can book it with Eric Berry, hard to say that about a lot of prospects.

And to the guy who said these were "pipe dreams picks"...if things don't get turned around quick, they won't be pipe dreams at all. And this is the draft zone where we talk about possible players to draft...and maybe Eric Berry falls for some ungodly reason and maybe he doesn't...that's why it's the draft zone. I could understand what you are saying if this was in one of the day to day cowboys forums, but its not.

I thought Ed Reed was better at the time of his selection and he was better...he was in the mid 20's if I remember correctly. The last player like Eric Berry was Sean Taylor prospect wise, and I wanted to trade ever pick we had to get him...and he was turning into the incredible hulk before the untimely and sad passing...
