The "talent" you speak of at WR looks mighty thin if you remove RW from the lot.
The same is true if you remove Hamlin from S or Newman from CB.
Remove Witten... from a 2 TE offense?

We're not loaded at any position so much as we merely have some quality depth. All it takes is one key injury at any position to make you reevaluate how "talented" you think the depth is.

You are counting on Austin, Hurd, and maybe Stanback to stay healthy all year. History says no.

to me this "too much talent" assesment is based on training camp reports....well guess what....I am sure EVERY team has the same stories coming out of training camp

How can we be deep at WR when we only have ONE wr that has ever caught over 50 balls in a season?

How can we be deep at Safety we we only have ONE who has ever played at an above average level in the NFL (Ken Hamlin)

What I hope we don't do...is cut a really good player to keep one of these sorry *** OL just for numbers sake

It is typical pre-season, over-optimism on the talent level on the team. And I agree, every team's fan base does it. It happens here every year.

Once the games start for real, a lot of these training camp heroes will look very average to lost.
