I don't follow college ball, I was almost a college player but I wrecked myself in the weight room and never played a single down. I went to UNT and will always pull for them, but really that's a loosing effort if ever one was.

Talk me into pulling for your school in this thread, I have no allies in the college world save UNT and they will always come before anyone else , but seeing how they suck, I want another college to care about and pull for

do your college proud...

I graduated from Rider University in New Jersey.

Their football program has been undefeated since 1951.

Helps they got rid of the program in 51 :p

Don't pull for a team. Watch to judge talent for the draft.

root for Clemson

a young QB who is very good now, Cullen Harper, only a soph

a talented young back in CJ SPiller, game-breaker

D that is young, fast and aggressive

that's what to look out next year for them

Interesting coming from a Gamecock fan.

I'm a fan of both, but they didn't drop off the map like SC did, so I can't complain too much about them

that's a heady QB right there, dad was a lineman for Georgia in the '80s, Cullen actually started out as an offensive lineman, he plays like one, tough as nails

The real answer is actually Michigan.

Sorry though, I cannot give a strong argument for why right now :(

There's no talking you into it from me this year.

This is probably the first year I don't think I've watched one full game of college ball. I'm fed up.

I dont think you can go wrong with Ohio State. Few teams are as consistenly good as the Buckeyes, especially over the last 7 or 8 years (pretty much since Jim Tressel took over) During the Tressel era, they have the second best winning percentage in the nation (USC) and have only lost by more than a touchdown twice. They play fast aggressive hard nosed defense every game. And if you can really get into the team, and start to learn about them, you really start to see how the team is always a reflection of Tressel, which is a great thing, as he is about as much of a class act as you will find in college football.

Oh, and Ill add that there is a tremendous amount of tradition at Ohio State, from Carmen, Ohio, to Hang on Sloopy, Script Ohio, "The Hive", right down to little things the die hards do like always..and I mean ALWAYS carrying a Buckeye in thier pocket for good luck.

Last thing, the Buckeyes tend to get alot of hatred around the country from just about everywhere, so its alot like being Cowboy fan. Someone has something to say everywhere ya go.
