The two of them were pretty heated throughout the broadcast. Mickey towed the company line and Bryan wants Garrett axed. They always disagree on stuff, but today was particularly testy at times.

By the way, on The Break Derek Eagleton told one of the other crew members to be quiet (not Eatman). So even the Cowboys in-house media people are frustrated.

That was entertaining. BB wants Garrett fired and thinks Mickey is defending him. Staying tuned for tomorrow lol.

What does it matter? Jerry is going to let Garrett coach out his contract. He's one of Jerry's kids.

...aaaannnnnddd the wheels on the bus go round and round, round and round. Wouldn't it be great to be talking about football??!!

I have new love for BB now. I've always liked him, but that was great. He's not afraid of getting canned obviously, and Mickey has too much of a good thing going not to toe the company line.

It has to be like working for Phillip Morris for Mickey, he has to tote the company line that smoking isn't bad for you, while thinking to himself this is crazy talk!

Bryan does deserve kudos for sticking to his guns on a Cowboys owned broadcast. I respect that more than Mickey's stance, but don't blame him for trying to keep his job.

I think the misconception that is the writers cant talk "bad" about the team or staff or owners is tiring. They have opinions and are entitled to that but labeling them with this "company line" stuff is so far from the truth.

Mickey is embarrassing..made me change my avatar.

You know it amazes me how some people will always believe one thing despite a mountain of evidence staring them in the face to the contrary of their held beliefs. Its mind boggling. Even a blind man could see Garrett staying changes nothing in the grand scheme of things and thats the problem, we need a serious change.

Bryan Broaduss really? I've noticed through out this season that he is not as good as I originally thought he was. So, he does not know what he is talking about.

Did you listen to the broadcast? Mickey is notorious for always being positive where the Cowboys are concerned. Sometimes it's a breath of fresh air among all the negativity, but in today's show he was being unreasonable in my opinion. I don't think it's his real opinion. I think it's in fact the company line. Also, the show is literally owned by the Dallas Cowboys so...

Exactly.

Next year..

Jerrah is going to have his handful..

..if Garrett falls short again..

..and if Romo has ANY issues getting back to elite status..

..it could get ugly.

I listen to it every day for years. I dont see it one sided as some have stated. I think what makes the show great is the different angles. I dont agree with mickey always but i can appreciate a debate. Today i will agree. It was over the top.
