Talkin Cowboys

I am still un-decided. It was first time I heard Kelsey and to be honest...I was impressed she knew as much as she did. Talk to me by end of year and I may feel as you do.

Impressed she knew as much as she did? What exactly?

Sydney keeps skipping the show now. It's only a matter of time.

She's really annoying.

An SMU grad... who's accomplished nothing... and was handed a job. Yeah, I'd wager 10k that daddy knows someone in the biz.

I think they're starting to find their stride. Less stepping on each other in the last two shows this week. Sydney, I'm sure, is really sweet. But it's not like her football expertise is going to be missed if she's gone for any period of time. I can live with the absence. I just don't like the awkward transitions and people talking over each other. It's uncomfortable to listen to when that happens.

I like the Break a lot better. Mickey has to be the most annoying personality employed by any nfl team

No, think it is more along the lines that she is full of energy, happy and welcoming and has been very successful in organizing major major events for the Cowboys over the past several years in the new stadium and elsewhere. Charlotte Jones is VP in charge of marketing. I don't think it has anything to do with anything but rewarding success in the organization.

It's a nice thought. I guess I'm just a pessimist. I just find it very hard to believe a chick who, not to be too critical, knows very little about the actual game got this position. It's also just convenient that SMU, located in the Highland Park area, and has more prominent family/alumni in the region than any other school, happened to be her alma mater. I bet an overwhelming % of Jerry's buddys/business partners in the area are from SMU.

I mean, realistically, how do you get a spot on "Talkin' Cowboys" when you're asking Broaddus if he knows what an iformation is? There are any number of cute/corky girls that are "full of energy" that could take that spot and know about football. Hell, I went to school with quite a few.

She runs the galas and the they have at the stadium and in oxnard. That's a fact. It's what her job is outside of the podcasts and the Cowboys make a ton of money and get a lot of people to come out. She is by definition an event promoter. Her events are successful.

I get that you don't like her but to say she is talentless is simply not true.

Sydney, the cheerleader said that.

Understandable. Didn't know about her former marketing stuff, so I can admit I was wrong about that.

However, I've still got my tinfoil hat on and believe there's some chicanery going on.

So someone who graduated in May 2013 with a degree in Convergence Journalism and a minor in Spanish, is an event promoter for the maketing department? Do you have a link for this?

Sounds like one of Jerry's buddys needed to get his little girl an internship.

 K i'm done hatin'.

She has said it multiple times that she is responsible for the draft party at the stadium and for training camp. A written source then no but she has said it over and over again on the air.

Not every successful woman did so through daddy or their legs.

Wow, so someone with no experience is given that job. Amazing.

I am getting the impression that you are projecting something else onto old Kelsey here. She did similar things at SMU and for the Austin Chronicle. They gave her the East gala to coordinate events for and she did well. They expanded that to training camp.

And again her results have been good. i am guessing you don't think female comedians are funny either.
