I agree. Like facing federal sentencing and still smoking pot. Not the best judgement if you really give a crap.

For all we know he was over at a friends house watching the NBA playoffs and had a few beers. Rather than head straight home he chilled out for a bit to sober up and then went home which is exactly the responsible thing to do.

For all we know, he was in the desert, burying a stripper he had killed earlier in the evening.

After digging her a shallow grave, he knocked back a cold beer to relax a little bit before driving home.

Given that speculation, I think he serves all 8 games.
