Been a cowboys player for years, at what point do we part ways with him. With the big deals that need to get signed, and the way Quinn can make something out of nothing with a DL guy, I can see him being gone eventually.

NOT THAT I WANT HIM GONE, but when you think of contracts coming up Diggs, Lamb, Micah down the road, can we afford to have him here also???

Please give your thoughts, bash me not the others on this post this is NOT meant to be a Lawrence hate thread, just asking a question!
Realistically from a cap prespective, he has another 2 seasons.

I understand it’s a business, and I certainly understand he put this team in a bind during his negotiations (which is well within his right), but all that being said he’s been nothing but a team player since. He’s played through injury, he’s accepted a pay cut to help support the finances of the team, he’s been the only legitimate body we had trot out on the DL before the Micah era. I hope he retires a Cowboy tbh
I'll never understand the DLaw hate around here. Dude has been a cornerstone player since the season he walked into Dallas. He made some absolutely jaw dropping plays last year on the goal line against the run and affected the passer much more than the numbers would show. He is the type of player you want on your team and as long as he continues to accept team-friendly contracts as he ages, we should be thrilled to have him around here.
