Dez is a rook who missed part of camp. So he has a lot to learn. What I want to see is the dedication to learning the facets of the game, to polish his skills. I will not annoint or dump him until that part is clear one way or another.

This is as simple as 1-2-3. All teams now are focused on Dez and shutting him down, so you play the man. None of this your third string and don't play half the game. There is a reason why defenses are focused on him and no one else and when he doesn't play other teams are prolly giving each other high 5's. You also don't put him as far away from the play as possible as he was the entire game yesterday. Bottom line, do you not game plan around Andre Johnson, Fitzgerald, etc and call no plays for them? Yesterday, was not about coverage it was all about Dez being the 5th option on this team according to Jason Garrett.

If he wants to keep his job he better rethink that.

I missed a section of the game...so I can't comment on every play...but I doubt Kitna was just overtly long on both plays w/out doing so purposefully.

Kitna put the ball in the same spot on both of those fades. Dez needs to learn how to run that route.

Pretty much the reason that he rarely says anything about the WRs unless there is some way to bash Dez.

The gameday threads are the best examples. If Austin makes an average-to-great play, Romo 2 Austin suddenly appears to praise him then disappears. He never resurfaces whenever Austin has a pass hit him in the hands and either drops it or bats it up for defenders to intercept. Yet, if another receiver (in particular Dez Bryant) does not catch the ball or worse, it's nearly always a negative comment from him.

He's shown that since he arrived here.

It's hilarious to see him only getting worse, and worse, as time goes on. Especially after his big appology thread he posted that one time.

So sincere was he about it, and wanting to improve, that he even posted a link to the thread in his signature.

It was my thread asking if he was the best AT THAT TIME and I do believe the answer was yes because he was effecting games in a manner that other receivers were not. Things have changed since then and other receivers in the league stepped up, but Dez ripped off 3-4 very solid games in a row there.

A lot of people on this forum just want to hear themselves talk rather to stop and think before replying. I was never implying that Dez is the best receiver in the league overall.
