That was my biggest issue. Too much fun and games and bull**** and not taking his job seriously enough. And his all-too-brief career only proves it.

Hopefully he's grown up and learned his lesson, albeit the hard way.

He could have been a decent RB if he put any effort at all into the game.

And I hear you Yanks are obsessed with oughts and naughts.
Had Cornwallis not dallied until Washington brought in his naval french croneys, you'd be watching real football, rugby!;)

Guess he just wasn't smart enough huh? :lmao2:

I thought he was ar one point, but it seemed like the kid got more immature the longer he was around. Less professional the longer he was here.

2 things...

  1. He's no longer a kid.
  2. He's no longer a RB

He's a COACH.

e.sca the though it wasneveay, lp di
Yeah, word was he was pretty disgruntled the last year or so on the team.

He's a competitor that wasn't getting a chance to compete. Probably thought he was better than the guys that did get to play, even though that wasn't the case. I wouldn't give a crap about him if he wasn't disgruntled about not getting to play more. It is a matter of dealing with that situation as best one can.

Give m a guy that wants to be on the field every play of every game.

Can't disagree. I wonder if he'll teach guys to run out of bounds when the clock needs to be run out like he did against the Skins on Monday night years ago. Great hire Jerrah.

Y'all hate everything.

I don't think he is "coach" material, you may choose to disagree, but don't go knocking people just because they disagree with you on this. I agree with you on many other things. We all have our reasons for thinking the way we do. I don't see Tashard as a leader or coach. You do. Don't go into name calling or ad hominem attacks on one subject, when the same people who disagree now with you could be your best friends on another subject.

And he deliberately turned and ran. It's not like he was forced out. He did it twice in two separate games. Combine that with his locker room behavior and you have someone who appears to have been just handed a coaching job.

So Leon Lett shouldn't have been a coach here either? I can't believe you guys are really making this bigger than it really is. He's not making him head coach.

We're talking about two different people here. Don't put words in my mouth.

Leon Letts coaching resume:

Lett started his coaching career in 2009 as a volunteer assistant at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. On May 9, 2009, Lett graduated from UNLV with a degree in university studies and a concentration in sociology and history. On December 19, 2009, he was appointed defensive tackle coach for the University of Louisiana at Monroe.[6]

On March 31, 2011, he was invited as part of the NFL Minority Coaching Fellowship Program to assist Dallas Cowboys defensive line coach Brian Baker during training camp. On July 20, 2011, he was hired as a full-time assistant defensive line coach for the Cowboys.[7]

Tashard Choice's:

In 2016, he joined the Dallas Cowboys coaching staff after being out of the league just two years ago.

I wasn't putting words in your mouth. I was asking you a question. Leon Lett had some crazy things happen in his career. He was a much better linemen than Choice was a back. I just don't get the point of judging someone's past for how they are in the present. I don't even think anyone even knows what Choices job title actually is lol.

Lett was a starter on 3 championship teams. If not for drug suspensions and injuries he would have been in the Hall of Fame.

Choice was a huge locker room distraction and a mediocre running back. I just don't think he deserves the job.

Who are we to say who deserves what job though? He didn't kill or rape anyone. The guy wanted more carries and a bigger role than he had.

I won't argue about this anymore. We can just agree to disagree. I don't believe you have to be a hall of famer in order to coach on a NFL team. I'd imagine there's something they like there and good for him.
