It sounds like it's going to be through the minority fellowship program.

People are dramatically unforgiving over quite trivial things.

Who are we to say who deserves what job though? He didn't kill or rape anyone. The guy wanted more carries and a bigger role than he had.

I won't argue about this anymore. We can just agree to disagree. I don't believe you have to be a hall of famer in order to coach on a NFL team. I'd imagine there's something they like there and good for him.

Exactly. Some of our fellow fans feel as though they are the judge, jury, and the executioner even for a guy that did absolutely nothing wrong while with Dallas. He may turn out to make a fine coach or he may fall flat on his face. Judging from his past and how passionate he is about teamwork, I believe the former will hold true.

I find it hilarious to see a short story of a thread for a running back that barely amounted to much during his time here. These guys act like he was handed the head coaching job...lol He was given an opportunity as an assistant running backs coach. That's like an assistant to the assistant manager at Taco Bell. Dude has a lot of work to do to prove his worth and I look forward to seeing what he can do.

The hatred is strong with some folks. They'll carry that hatred all the way to the grave. A freaking autograph from a guy viewed as a rock star in his home state for a family member. Yes. The world ended that day for some lame ppl.

I wish him the best. We can use more passionate leadership in the coaching ranks.

I don't think he is "coach" material, you may choose to disagree, but don't go knocking people just because they disagree with you on this. I agree with you on many other things. We all have our reasons for thinking the way we do. I don't see Tashard as a leader or coach. You do. Don't go into name calling or ad hominem attacks on one subject, when the same people who disagree now with you could be your best friends on another subject.

Well I'm am not going to go back through this short story of a thread to see if you were one of the lamers complaining about an autograph. If you were, then the shoe fits. If not, then I respect your honest opinion.

This guy gets ripped for an autograph, but nobody has a problem when their favorite overrated WR exchanges jerseys with other receivers. #hypocrites

I'll always remember him for the 30 yard TD run that saved our bacon vs the Chiefs in 2009. We don't win 11 games in 2009 with out him.

I liked Choice as a player for a while, but I had soured on him by the time he was done in Dallas. It seems like there should be better choices to bring back as a coach. His effort was horrible during his last season with the Cowboys.

In classic Tashard Choice fashion, his announcement makes it sound like more than it is. He's part of a program, he wasn't hired as "a part of the staff". He got accepted to a program that's been going on for a while, where he gets to come in and learn from NFL coaches.

He's basically an intern, which is great for him but he shouldn't be making it sound like Jerry called him up personally to invite him onto the staff.
