Did you ever think that perhaps the illusion of issues with the autograph signing exists only here in this forum? Pettiness at its best right here on display.

I wouldn't think that a million Cowboys fans would respond to news of him being accepted into the coaching ranks on twitter. Only a very small percentage of us ever liked him in the first place. Let's be real here. State facts not generalizations. I posted factual info. He didn't magically manufacture those responses by people that follow him who also happen to be Cowboys fans.

This will, in all likelihood, turn out to be a good coaching hire. Years from now, no one will remember this congratulatory thread where a bunch of petty individuals decided to drum up their harbored disontent yet again. But I have no issue being the voice of reason. I relish that opportunity because, for all the idiotic things put forth in this thread, you have an individual that clearly still loved the Cowboys even after being long jettisoned from big D. He posted about it on his twitter page and had numerous posts about our draft.

It's ok to believe that some former players may make good coaches. It's also ok to bury the hatchet & grow up. I'm sure he has done it. All evidence points to us getting a mature student of the game with a passion that was always evident. Teaching and instilling that passion in some of our young RBs is not a bad thing at all.

A former player comes back to help coach the team he loves. What's not to like about that? I wish some of our bigger stars would come back and hit the sidelines (Michael and Troy primarily).

Choice was on the cowboys break last offseason. He is friends with Adrian Peterson and works out with him. When he was on the show he was talking about coaching but I cant remember where so it is my understanding that he has been coaching on some level and wanting to get an opportunity.

for the people saying he is not being hired for his ability what would be the reason for that? I am not sure if people realize this but there are former players all over the league at the moment and a lot of them get their start through the fellowship. When choice was drafted one of the common things said about him was someday when his career is over he will go into coaching.

anyway, when I hear the name Tashard Choice I think of the final Texas Stadium win ever in 08 vs the giants. Coming off the blown game at Pittsburgh owens went nuclear on romo, witten and garrett. It was an insane week which became the most insane 3 weeks I can remember as a fan when you add up the loss at Pittsburgh, the win vs the giants and the incredible loss to Baltimore.

IMO this may have been Tony Romo's Guttiest performance of his career, barry cofield Kneed him in the back in the first qtr on a drive where he got blitzed and hit on every play, every play. He went from looking like he couldn't stand up to escaping the pocket and hitting crayton in stride for a TD. Tashard Choice got his first career TD to close out the game but the play before that was the one that won the game...after a week of every media member telling romo he sucks and witten he is to slow and to buddy buddy with romo, Romo hit witten on 3rd and 9 to get the back breaking first down with the giants out of Timeouts.

also, IMO that was the best defensive game we ever played vs Eli Manning. The defense was dominant. This is the game I always choose to remember as the final one at the stadium since the ravens game was such a nightmare. The intensity of the Cowboys-Giants games in the era of 06-09 is off the charts.

I would expect more than 150 to respond. The second time the mental midget ran out of bounds the entire stadium booed him. The Vick autograph thing also caused an uproar that plenty of people besides the ones here remember.
