Yep, when look at the head coaches, how many were great players? What about the top assistants? Some people know the game better than anyone but didn't have the physical ability to be a good player. Doesn't keep them from being able to teach.

That said...he is another example for the "you can always land a back later that will give you the same production" crowd...sustained greatness is what pro sports is about.

Hmmm.... I guess I just have a different memory of him. I don't remember a fun and games approach. I'd like to think he'd be professional like every coach has been.
