:starspin I'm inclined to agree. I doubt that all three will remain with us for any length of time.

I can see Choice being traded if a team offers a #1 in the near future. What he's doing against the best defenses in the league is amazing. Especially for a rookie. Some team will gamble with that. I love all 3 of our backs but I think its impossible to keep all 3 happy. Felix should be okay because we can use him similiar to how the Saints use Reggie Bush. With Barber he's the bruiser. Choice is sort of Barber and Felix combined.

I liked him at GT, and the way he has played is amazing. I was just watching the NFL Replay and forgot about this play though. It was 3rd and 1 just started the 4th quarter and we run the option and Choice bobbled it. Had he not he may have scored but certainly would have moved the chains. I think we score a TD there and get it to 16-14 we win that game. Between that and the Hamlin non fumble recovery it just shows how really close these games are to being a W or an L.

Thats the thing that I keep thinking, the Cowboys are just not getting the breaks, and sometimes thats just the way it is. It seems like they have to play a perfect game because the football Gods are not doing them any favors right now.

One thing I cannot get over is, as great as the pass rush has been recently, they are just not forcing many bad throws, normally a pass rush like Dallas has had for the last month or better yields ints from heat on the QB......it's just not happening.

Edit: Newman did have a pair against the G-men, I forgot about those. Besides that, it's been slim pickings.

Choice won't be traded. Barber and Jones both had only split carries in college and are both have seemed satisfied in the pros to be used sparingly, if done effectively. Choice is a better every down back, keeping the game in check until the home run hitter, Jones, can take his shots, and until the closer, Barber, is needed to punish teams in the last period or at the goal line.

:)

Forget about draft status and money. Think about production.

Yea but you have to be realistic here. Choice is a competitor. That's why he's so good right now. Same goes for Scandrick. They're competitors. Choice at some point is going to want to be THE GUY. Just like Michael Turner did for the Chargers. Maybe it won't be next season. Maybe not the season afterwards. But 3 or 4 years down the road if Choice is still getting the carries that Felix and Barber don't get i'd expect to see a Choice departure whether it be via trade or free agency.
