I have one on my right arm that's a combo of 3 team logos (cowboys, man United and Vancouver Canucks). My friend has a full sleeve with Philly Eagles stuff, I hate the team but there's some amazing work done. Much prefer something like that than roses or skulls or geometry shapes or angels most people get, although to each their own

I have a Cowboys tattoo on my unit.

It says "Cowboys Fan".

Unless I'm excited, then it says "Cowboys Fan since the Roger Staubach Era with the Doomsday Defense that was the first of several Dynasties for the greatest franchise in the history of the National Football League".

And its a large font.
Dang man, that's just way too much.

Wondered who was gonna be the first to go there. Congrats!!

On the other side, does it say "Deeply penetrate the dictator commissioner Roger Stokoe Goodell!!"?

I have the star and I have the ticket of the last game I went to with my dad. Literally took the ticket to my artist and we tattooed it on my forearm. It was the last game I went with my dad. He passed away 3 months after.

Also it was tony romo last home game he won starting.

I wish, after the lawyers got through with the negotiations the tattoo on the other side says this:

"Views and opinions presented here are solely those of the author. They don't necessarily represent those of the NFL. I am explicitly required not to infringe or authorize any infringement of copyright or any other legal right by email communication, as well not to make defamatory statements. Any such communication is contrary to NFL policy and outside the scope of the organizational role of the individual concerned. Considering all this, please be informed that the NFL will not accept any liability in respect to such communication. If there is any damage or other liability arising, Kaiser is the one who will be personally liable.

Ahhh, this has been a good diversion of juvenile humor. Carry on sir.

The biggest thing about tattoos for me, what truly can you put on your body, permanently that you can relate to. I change too often it's not hard being individual.

Could be cool?
I’d be very skeptical of water color tattoos. They look really cool initially but Ive only seen a few that looked good a few years later, the better ones were more abstract.

I still think they look great (initially) and more power to the people who want to get them, everyone has their own tastes so I’m not knocking it, I’m just saying for anyone thinking of getting one to do quite a bit of research of how they hold up and a lot of that will have to do with the specific artist and design.

Very legitimate concern. I took me awhile to come up with some of my bigger ones. I have one sleeve that’s all related to time, it’s a daily reminder for me how much time may or may not matter, that will never change for me. Another one is a an American history sleeve, I was a history major in college (Russia, go figure) but I still spend lots of free time reading about American history, and history in general. The fascination with history will never change for me either and my sleeve is a another constant reminder of how our country got to where it is today and some of the wars that people gave it their all to help us achieve that.

3 others are personal memorials. One is just a classic traditional eagle that has meaning, like a lot of the traditional traditional tattoos, ha. Another is nothing but liking the artist and letting her do her thing, I had almost no input. There are one or two things I would change about that one but on the other hand it’s her idea and I like her work so it’s kinda cool in that sense. That’s the one most people would say “what the hell were you thinking”, lol. Ironically enough, she was also the most expensive and in the highest demand by far.

Oh yeah, it’s a real thing. I’m gonna guess it started around 10 years ago, maybe a little longer.

Here’s a few, it’s pretty obvious which ones will look like a big muddled bruise (if they don’t already) and which ones will hold up if they take care of them.

And a little of what I was referring too about longevity (not that any tattoos will look better with time, some just don’t look as bad with time, like traditional tattoos).

Cool to see some real thought put into the tattoos you get. A lot of people don't seem to do that. A few years ago, we were having our house painted and one of the guys on the crew was out there with his shirt off. In four-inch block letters across his stomach, he had the F word. I was like, ok then. What was even more strange is I didn't see any other tattoos on him.

Lol, I pretty much appreciate all tattoos, good an bad or whether I like their meaning or not (there’s always exceptions). The F word is one I can relate too, whenever people impersonate me every other word is the F word so although it’s part of my everyday vocabulary, and some people would say “define” me, I would never get it on my body but as The Dude would say “Eh, ****”.

This is the girl who did one of mine, as you can see she has a very distinctive style I and totally understand why it’s not for everyone and a lot of people don’t like it. As with most art, it’s all in the eye of the beholder and that’s all that matters. I had one good ole boy I work with who looked at me dumfounded, like “why the hell did you do that” and said “it looks like you stepped in a bucket of black paint”. I laughed, he’s partly right.

I was tempted to ask him what the F word tat meant to him but decided against because the rest of the crew had some distinctive tattoos that are offensive to most people. To each their own but I'll just say that with my shaved head I thought I was about to be invited to a "meeting".

That girl you linked definitely has a very unique style. I can't say I've ever seen tattoos like those. I appreciate skill in just about any area and she's got it.

Ha...I’m about to start shaving my head again, plus I have a resting awesome person face. It never helped but now I have a lot more tattoos so I’m sure I’ll be getting a second look every now and then but it comes with the territory. IMO, if you’re going to get tattoos in places visible to the public then don’t be offended if people say something or stare unless it’s offensive of course.

What’s funny is how many children comment on my tattoos when we’re doing public education classes. It’s funny to me because although tattoos are more accepted now then they used to be, kids rarely discriminate and just see me for who I am, or think the tattoos are “neat” whereas some adults still have the raised eye brow/stink eye look. Depending on the age, I’ll give the kids a quick history lesson with my history arm.

Yeah, Roxx is almost one of a kind. I think there’e one or two other people that use that much solid black. What’s real impressive, at least for mine, is that there was no stenciling at all and her lines were almost perfect. Lots of artists have a hard enough time with symmetry and keeping straight lines when they’re tracing a stencil let alone doing it free hand. She’s kinda in your neck of the woods, was in SF when I went to see her years back but believe she’s in LA now. Last I heard her waiting list was ridiculous, she’s appealing to a select few but she’s one of the best and only ones to do that type of style so she’s in high demand,
