A timely surgery. If his appendix inflamed next week instead of this, it could have been when on the practice field, and knowing Campbell's history, he's not one to complain about pain. I can see the man doing what he did re the excruciating pain of those torn ligaments last September.

Continuing to play, specially since vets 'set the tone' in camp.

Peritonitis is a killer.

I think 'we' dodged a big one.

I agree and BP said he's had players return to practice and games 10 days after this type surgery. I think thats a stretch but who knows. Heck he said similar things to JW when he broke his jaw to get him back earlier and it worked.

Canty to TE situationally. Gotta be prepared and ready for injuries. You heard it here first.

Sure. Before Ryan, Pierce, and Curtis.

Robinson, of course, can only long snap and catch them in the end zone.

Campbell back in 10 days, Aug. 7th.

Parcells said Canty is expected to begin full practice, Aug. 8th.

Just when is Canty going to get those 2nd team reps?

Of the 3 you mentioned 2 TE's will be cut.

Canty in 05! TE situational playa! He gets Robinsons role this year.

Why? For that to even make sense, he would have to be better than Robinson - and Robinson is pretty darn good at it himself. Canty there just makes no sense.

If youre going to make these outlandish predictions at least make one that makes sense.

Spear actually played TE at LSU.

Why you would want that is beyond me seeing that he hasnt played at all in a year due to injury. He needs all the reps he can get at DE so he can be proficient there.

Not to mention working on his footwork and tackling.
