Jerry Jones as captain of the Titanic..."Relax folks, It's only a small hole"..
And then a week later sell the fan base on the world's largest and most exquisite submarine.

Jerry "has his man."I never liked McCarthy’s high school idea of having different captains every week. I mean look at the guys who have been captains lately....it’s a joke.
While this silly practice has absolutely nothing to do with injuries or the terrible defense or our record, I do think it’s time for Mike to find and name permanent captains for the rest of the season, and those captains should be given the responsibility of not only giving 100% while on the field, even if they have to take more breaks, but they also need to be told to get in the faces of players when need be, shake players on the sideline, while leading by example.
Personally, I’d go with Martin, DLaw, and our best special team gunner. There are players that have been here and are respected by others for effort if not numbers. It’s time to use them instead of the current practice of sharing the C on the jersey of guys who will never be viewed as captains.
While this is true on an individual player level, it does say a lot about what or who the team follows.I've never been big on the whole captain thing in any capacity. If you need a C on your jersey to be a leader, you're probably just not a leader.
Very true. I think inside the locker room people already know though. I think the captain designation is more exciting for fans than people inside the locker room. While this is true on an individual player level, it does say a lot about what or who the team follows.
i don't need anyone to tell me who the captains are....Dak...Tyron Smith...Zack Martin...Sean Lee.
seems obvious.
hopefully Martin returns for sunday night.Quite true.....sad none are on the playing roster. That shows we have no legit captains on this team. Can you imagine if Cooper had the fire in the belly like Irvin had? He could elevate the play of Gallup and Lamb and set a great example on the field......forget the off the field stuff..
I know many get tired of hearing about the Jimmy Johnson team, but those were filled with captains up and down the roster. And they all knew who the main man was.
