Team needs?

Add a really good safety and linebacker in free agency or the draft. The good news is that the positions they need the most can be drafted outside of the top 20. And I’m worried about right tackle. But by the end of the season Dallas should know what they have in Nate Thomas if they give him reps.

Im not saying a tam doesnt/shouldnt always evaluate positions and look to improve, but we do have the number 1 offense in football. Dak is consistently given a clean pocket to throw in. Id say the position is doing pretty well.

This team looks entirely different post trade deadline. The defense particularly looks like it is not even the same team. This defense (productively) looks like a top 5 defense without a true end pass rusher.

The offense looks much better. When Shotty is “on” calling plays this offense is pretty productive. I think he is starting to figure out what this team does well and what it does not.

Having said all of the foregoing, what do you think needs to be added/changed for this team to take it up another level?

I see safety and linebacker as needing help and another legitimate, productive RB. Davis might end up being that guy, but I would like a legit back that causes stress on an opponent.

I would love to see the Cowboys add a FA safety, LB and RB and then stick exclusively to their board regardless of position. Possibly trade back with one of those FRPs and get two more picks in the top 75.

LBs, Saftey. RB, DE, QB....in no particular order. if a QB with high potential falls for whatever reason, shove Milton out there and draft him. Dak is going to be 33, I have no faith in Milton.

if the ND RB falls, then take him, else wait until middle rounds. I have no faith in Blue at this point.

LBs for sure, take at least one in the first....or if a good DE falls. we need LBs....

Middle linebacker.....Speed rushing edge, safety.

As others have said, LB, S and EDGE. Cant afford to miss on either of the 1st round picks. And if a top CB prospect falls into your lap, take him.

CB: 3 quality starters.

We need another top CB to pair opposite Revel. Diggs is probably gone so CB should be a priority.

They’re out of position. Guyton is NOT a LT and needs to play RT. Nate can play LT because we’ve seen it. We also have the kid from Kansas who showed promise.

Bland missed 9 snaps in the KC game.
- Mahones immediately started targeting his backup (Trikweze).

Also, I think Revel is the only one that can cover the big AND fast WRs.

I prefer a free agent but the free agent pool appears limited.

Wilson: Is he fast enough?

Murray: No instincts.

Overshown: Can he stay healthy?

Stewart: OK as the 3rd LB in 2026 but I don't want to count on him to be 1 of the top 2 LBs on the roster.
