Twitter: Teams now have a lot of tape on Cooper Rush because of his starts

Defenses are now going to try and game plan more to take away what makes Cooper Rush the most comfortable. Question is can Kellen Moore adjust to what they are doing to help out Rush or can Rush do just enough to throw off defenses who are going to try and put the game solely on his arm and QB talents.

So then Philly better not lose to a backup QB.

I think quite the opposite. Everybody has seen Rush struggles with the fastball throws outside the numbers. DC's will probably take away the middle throws and force everything to the sidelines.
Will Rush be able to adjust? I guess we'll find out if that's what they plan.
You are right!

Moore is going to have to get a bit more creative and aggressive Sunday IMO. Of course most are saying just run the ball and it wil be fine as that's the recipe that's worked thus far but this is a better defense Sunday than we've faced recently. I think we should try to get them on their heels early.

Just slamming Elliott into the line on most first and second downs and then Rush trying to convert third and mid to long seems like a recipe to get smoked.

I think the Eagles will concentrate on stopping the run and taking the intermediate routes, especially across the middle, from the Cowboys offense.
They will try to force Cooper to beat them with outside routes and deep passes. They will get burned by this, underestimating Rush’s accuracy, but he will be forced to adjust.
They will send blitzes and stack the line to try and stop the run.
So, in return, Dallas has to take advantage of the deep ball, but also incorporate blocking packages that target specific holes in the defense, and give Rush time to pass.
Rush may have to roll out to one side and change the angles he attacks the pass defense of the Eagles, and use Pollard and Elliott to find openings in the short secondary.
Moore is too smart to let them take away the run, and I expect him to target holes in the line with overloaded blocking.
Fatigue will determine the outcome of this battle, as the Cowboys o-line and plan of attack must overcome the Eagles pressure.

What he does best is hand it off
If the load up to stop that then he will throw it
You can’t stop Rush, you can only hope to contain him

That sideline pass to Gallup sure was pretty.
That can't be, Rush can't make those throws, EVERYBODY knows that....oh wait! He made that nice looking pass to Gallup?? LOL
I think Rush can make those passes just fine, and I also think he's pretty accurate.
I also think Rush and our defense can beat the stinking eagles.

They should be worrying about getting tape on the defense.

A lot of pressure is going to be on Jalen Hurts to perform well and get a win against the Cowboys on Sunday night. He really has struggled against Dallas and is 0-2 against Dallas. If he loses, then things won't be pretty for him on Monday morning. And the fact that Cooper Rush is playing is going to add to the pressure of Jalen Hurts needing to put up a good performance at home. Eagles fans place so much importance in "Dallas Week" and them having a starting QB who can't beat the Cowboys, even when the Cowboys are playing a backup is going to make them question if Jalen Hurts can be their long term franchise QB.
