Teams we need to lose this week

Seahawks have 2 losses.

Eagles are no real threat.

Eagles are 5-4... I HOPE we get a first round bye and play them in the postseason. That would be nice.
The Eagles should have beaten us. I think 4 of their last 6 are at home. This division is FAR from over.

Do you still cheer for us when we're mathematically eliminated from the playoffs? I don't.

I can't remember who the last 2 or 3 teams we played last year but i'll remember the impact Ezekiel Elliot is having.
I have idea what point you're trying to make.

I always go by a specific formula as.to who needs to lose:

AFC team versus NFC team-NFC team

Division rival vs non-division rival-Division rival

Non-division NFC team vs Non-division NFC team-the team with the best record

Division rival vs division rival-team with best record

AFC team vs AFC team-the Pittsburgh Steelers

I got a funny feeling the Giants slip up this weekend vs the Bears.
ME too actually. Having Eli making the plays on the fly is kinda weird too. Seeing him do that big rig air horn arm movement before every snap is extremely irritating

The primary goal is to win the division. Don't root for an NFC East team unless they're mathematically out of contention.

I have to root for a Seahawks loss. Philly will piss off some games. The difference between getting the #1 seed and the #2 seed might be the difference between us getting to the Super Bowl and going home. I'll root for a Philly win this game only

A lot of you guys over complicate things. I'm rooting for everyone not named Dallas to have 4 or more losses, as I expect us to go 12-4 at worst and I don't expect any of the current 4 loss teams to win out. If we are sub .500 the rest of the way god help us anyway.

The Seahawks are one of the few teams without 4 losses. Therefore I root for Eagirls.

That's a tough one. Outside of the Dallas and Seattle matchups the Eagles should be favored for the rest of their games. Seattle has a cakewalk for the rest of their games after Philly so this will likely be the last chance to hang a loss on them for the rest of the regular season.

YUP - Seahawks likely win out (schedule below)...we can afford maybe one more loss if we hope to have home field for the NFC playoffs...otherwise, we're going to their place as a #2 seed.

Would you like to make a friendly wager that the Seahawks will not win out? I happy to make that at pretty much any rate you'd like.

No no. I am giving you the 2. I am taking the 1. So I guess my odds are 1-2.
Lol. Boy. Going out on a limb there. They are 8-1 to win SB at this point so 3-1 to win out season seems more than fair.

Is there a big difference between #1 and #2? Both get 1st week byes.

Games with no bearing on the Cowboys game

Browns over Pitt - I want the Browns to win at least 1, and I want them to beat Pitt, who we all hate
Titans over Colts - I like the team they are building in Tenn.
Bills over Bengals - I'm ticked that the Bengals refuse to help us out, so let them die like dogs, even though they are cats
Raiders over Texans - I just hate the Texans, plus if they lose, I get to give my neighbor a hard time
Cards over Vikings - I want Zona to win that division, that road starts now.
Pats over Niners - This way I can give the in-laws a hard time over Thanksgiving, since they are Whiner fans.
Dolphins over Rams - I despise Jeff Fisher, Mr. Overrated.
Chiefs over Bucs - AFC over NFC team, enough said
Lions over Jags - I want the Lions to win that division, despite the AFC over NFC nonsense
Bears over Giants - Die Giants Die
Packers over Commanders - Die Skins Die

If Dallas wins - Eagles over Seahawks
If Dallas loses - Seahawks over Eagles

We have a 3 game lead over the Eagles right now. So if we win, we can gain ground on the Seahawks for the 1 seed, while also maintaining our lead over the Eagles. If we lose, we have to think division first, so we need the Eagles to lose, so we maintain that 3 game lead on them. Of course, if we win, and the Eagles lose, they are all but finished, with regards to the division title.

Yes. Huge. Playing Seattle in Seattle is a tougher out than playing them in Dallas. Wouldn't you agree?
In theory, but the Cowboys don't seem to play any better at home than on the road.

To me, it's like playing 8-ball. If you start thinking about setting yourself up for the next shot or the next 2 shots, then you can end up missing what should have been an easy shot.
