Denver's pick goes to Seattle.
The Rams' pick goes to Detroit.
The Saints' pick goes to Philly.
Cleveland would pick in the top 10 right now and their pick goes to Houston.

The incentive to tank sort of goes away when another team gets the benefit.
what did phil give NO to get a # 1 pick?

the only team you could realistically fit into that rams model is miami and it seems to be working out for them
only if they win big , get in playoffs and do good. Really at least get to champ game or SB.

Per the ESPN site:

The New Orleans Saints made an aggressive trade to grab an extra first-round pick in this year's draft, trading a first (No. 18), third (No. 101) and seventh-round pick (No. 237) in 2022, along with their 2023 first-round pick and 2024 second-round pick, to the Philadelphia Eagles in exchange for two first-round picks in 2022 (Nos. 16 and 19) and a sixth-round selection (No. 194). The Eagles originally acquired the No. 16 pick from the Indianapolis Colts last year in exchange for quarterback Carson Wentz, and it was sent to the Commanders for the No. 11 pick on Thursday. Washington used it on Penn State receiver Jahan Dotson. The Eagles sent No. 18 to the Titans for WR A.J. Brown, and the Titans used the No. 18 pick on Arkansas receiver Treylon Burks, and the Saints used the No. 19 pick on Northern Iowa tackle Trevor Penning.

The Saints are only a game behind TB in the win column. It's not inconceivable that they still win the division. That would be the ultimate screw job on the Eagles. Not likely but would still be funny

Let's hope so, brother. I don't like the idea of the Eagle's, who are very good now, get a high draft pick from the Saints and their own first round pick, even it's in the 30's.

Amazing how the mighty have fallen. Rams are the defending Super Bowl champs with a lousy record and no #1 draft pick. Denver and New Orleans aren't in great shape either.
The Rams are the worst defending champion in NFL history.

I'm honestly surprised the bottom didn't fall out before they won it all. There are good lessons to take away from their model, but they also got extremely lucky
They were very lucky and now their true colors will bare fruit.

I would take 10 years of the cowboys sucking if I could get one championship out of it.
That would be awful. You should be happy that the team is good and they will be good next year as well. They could very well win a championship or 2. Enjoy the ride.

Lost von miller too.
they may be back in the saddle next season, and it is hard to keep any SB team intact.
The Rams are not going to be back in the saddle without a qb. There is a good chance that their qb is done and Donald is going to be done as well. They are going to be one of the worst teams in the league. Painfull to watch.

Probably.

They don’t even have any players on the roster that they could trade to help get some draft capital back.

ok not sure if any are traded away, but going to list the teams currently up for the top ten picks.

1.Houston Texans 1-9-1
2.Denver Broncos 3-8
3.Chicago Bears 3-8
4.Los Angeles Rams 3-8
5.Arizona Cardinals 4-8
6.New Orleans Saints 4-8
7.Carolina Panthers 4-8
8.Green Bay Packers 4-8
9.Indianapolis Colts 4-7
10.Detroit Lions 4-7

other 4-7 teams more likely to win more games
Jacksonville Jaguars
Las Vegas Raiders
Pittsburgh Steelers
Cleveland Browns

So these teams hold the top 14 spots in draft, and probably should tank rest of way, but many
will keep trying to win games.
I think Houston is the only one tanking on purpose, and they probably wind up with #1 pick.

Dallas faces one of these teams, the colts sunday, I think colts would like to upset dallas,
but if they get down early I doubt they fight hard rest of game.
Their coach probably wants to win to keep his job, but depends on how owner feels about it.
They still have math chance for playoffs lol . but no realistic chance.

Rams are a surprise to be so low, I think they should go for the high draft pick, if it wasnt traded away.
even still, they would pick high in rest of rounds.
Similar for bears and broncos, might as well go for the higher draft picks than try to win more games.

be interesting to see who wins the high draft picks.

Fun to talk about the top teams, but bottom teams are interesting from this perspective.
They tanking or not? or are they just that bad?
I think all of us will be dead before the Rams have a number one draft pick ever again, lol. They went all in to get their Super Bowl victory so Kroenke can celebrate his Stadium finally opening with a Championship. But they mortgaged their future doing so- many lean years ahead with salary cap issues and few draft picks in the coming years. But he got his championship and I guess they can milk that for 5-10 years or so keeping ticket sales coming. Plus the Chargers paying rent.
