Teddy Bridgewater just went down - Torn ACL

Unfortunate...hate when players get injured. They only have a short amount of time to earn their money.

I always thought Teddy was a baller. Only thing I didnt like was his flimsy build.

It sucks for us too because now, the market for another QB has just gotten more expensive.

I highly disagree. Dallas plays MIN during probably the toughest stretch of the schedule on December 1st. With Romo out early, Dallas may have to get a lot wins late to catch up if they start off slow.

That only applies to players who have been in the league for less then 4 seasons, I believe.

Hmm, yeah Im not sure. Also wouldnt be suprised if Showers is 3 and we pick up whatever rift raft is left.

Man, injuries suck.

The NFL really needs to make some accommodation so that teams can develop multiple young QBs who know their systems without compromising the 53. It really hurts he product on the field when you're realistically looking at potential pre-season playoff teams playing a Showers (sorry Jameil) or a Joel Stave in a real NFL game at some point in the season.

What does that have to do with the QB market available?

You gotta have a backup either way though. I mean, there is also the possibility that the game can get too big for Dak, once he gets to the regular season. I don't expect that but it could happen and if it does, you gotta be able to pull him out and sit him, while still having a QB who can run the offense. I don't think that's Showers at this point in his development process. Heck, just to run practices, you gotta have at least three QBs.
Again, I understand what you are saying. But, now that I'm looking at it, the Vikings actually are positioned behind the Cowboys on the waiver wire, so it should not impact them in any way...the Cowboys will still have the first choice.

Not if you browse over at DC.com. They have already put Dak in the ROH and HOF. And he hasn't yet taken a single snap in a regular season game. No need for another QB when according to them Dak is going to shatter all the NFL records in his first season.

No, I hear you. From a football fan perspective, you don't like to see injuries happen to anyone. Having said that, we at least don't have to weather another string of "Our season is over because (enter miscellaneous player here) is injured" threads.

To be fair, our QB, and our "backup QB" are injured, and two of our best pass rushers are suspended lol

It would not make a difference. Let's face it, there are barely 32 guys in the world that can play QB at a very good NFL level. If you look at the current backups the NFL has and how many of them could be successful, there really is not reason to put more on the roster - they can't play QB in the NFL anyway.

Yes, but those threads have already ran their course, so...
