Tell me why you’d pay Dak?

"Dude" JJ runs the team, if you believe Stephen tells Jerry what to do you have to realize all football decisions are made by Jerry period

If all football decisions where made by JJ, we would have a certain A&M QB and not an all pro G. Has been some more, but ill let you figure those out.

How did that work out for the Steelers via LVB?

Worked out fine for them Bell's first tag season and it's working with Tank right now.

The problem is when you use your last tag and the player knows he's moving on next year, which is what's going on in Pittsburgh with Bell this season.

He can’t throw guys open.

He can’t accurately throw Down field.

He doesn’t make WR’s and TE’s better around
him.

He holds on to the ball too long.

If things aren’t going perfect for him he looks like a deer in headlights.

We have all admitted he is not good when Zeke isn’t dominating.

So my question is why are we going to pay this guy 100 million dollars ?

Kind of a loaded question, extending the contract and a big money contract 2 different things.

I'd pay him just to piss you off...lol!!!

Because it's Dak....isn't that enough....lets kill our team with a 120+ million contract to a below avg QB who cannot play without a 300 million offline and a top 3 HB .....I mean don't you get it man...makes sense to me .....:omg:

P.S. Where you going to find a QB that throws check-downs all game long and runs for his life while fumbling the ball....Sign Dak now make our demise final Mr. Jones.....!!!!

All football decisions are made and or approved by JJ, He has said it many times, if you want to believe someone else made a pick that JJ didn't approve of you are fooling yourself, JJ is owner and GM you can figure out the rest.

Not every QB contract has to be in excess of $100 million...

If Dak is looking for a monster salary, he needs to step his game up or test free agency when his time comes. At his current production level, he isn't worth that much.

Dak and his representatives are definitely looking for a long term deal in excess of 100mil for sure. Is he worth that and
the impact of that type of contract on the team going forward? NOPE! Brady & Brees he isn't.

If you are not on your rookie contract or not a journeyman - you're getting 20 mill per year!

That's crazy!

As of right now, I would not pay Dak. His value to the team is he has a low salary. Once his salary increases, he will need to increase his production to compensate for other weaknesses and he can't do that right now.

I'd pay Dak because he's a franchise QB and also our future.

Any other questions?

These questions are almost always phrased incorrectly. The questions are, "How much would you pay for Dak?" and "What's your plan for the QB position?" I'd certainly pay more for Dak than he's paid now, and less for him than for a top-5 QB. I worry less about the team overpaying for Dak than about them having no plan.

Logical.

I would really like to know where people are coming up with these contract numbers? We already know based on Jones comment we will not be talking Rodgers or Matt Ryan money.

If Dak receives a Bortles type deal, that’s actually a huge win for us. I’d rather have a cheaper system QB.

But if it’s for superstar market rate? No way
