You obviously didn't understand the press conference then. Romo conceded the job to Dak and, in the process, mitigated any potential QB controversy. Romo then left the locker room after games so he wouldn't be a distraction to the team. In essence, he nipped it in the bud. Had he not done that, the speculation surrounding Romo, Dak, the team, etc. would have run rampant during a crucial part of the season when the team is fighting for a playoff birth. I think it says a lot when the primary story this year was Dak and Zeke, and not Romo. It was a classy move and I'm not so sure some QB's would have been so gracious and just given up their job.
