You never played a sport in your life huh?

Giving a team even a little slither of hope, with a score. Boosts confidence.

If we continue to score instead of turning the ball over, we are up 21-10. Who knows how GB reacts to that vs 21-13 a TD, pretty much just to tie the game.

Regardless we don't turn the ball over there, and go onto score we have them in a trail position, regardless of what they do. That gives us momentum, and puts the pressure on them, because we know that regardless of what they do, as long as we play our game, we will be 2 steps ahead of them, and 1 mistake can end it for them.

They make another mistake, or give us the ball back, up 2 scores, and we score again? Almost, pretty much, game over. That's a bunch of pressure. Like walking on egg shells.

Murray completely took that deal off the table when he fumbled. Now we are back to playing a game of "Damn they are right behind us, even with a score, they can still tie it"

Cool story, but since this is about AD and not Murray we can leave it alone.

I'm sensing All Day is going to be quite the local catch phrase in the near future.(All Day is Petersons nickname if anyone didn't know)

take it for what its worth but corby is an OU fan and has connections with higher ups there and friends with Switzer

I'm not getting a solid read on what he's talking about here?

What do you think his tweet means?

The discussion on who's fault the GB loss is on is pointless IMO. The fact of the matter is that we knew and understood what our Defense was and what GBs offense was. My personal opinion is that if AR is healthy, we probably get smoked by GB. However, because he was not healthy, we had an excellent chance of beating them and, IMO, really should have beaten them. IMO, Murray's fumble was the difference in that game. I believe that if he doesn't fumble, he does score there, or at the very least, put us deep in GB territory with an excellent chance to drive for a TD and take even more time off the clock. At the very least, we get another 3 points to add to our lead. I do think we win that game if he doesn't fumble.

Yes, if the Defense can get any kind of pass rush, we beat GB and that's all true but we knew and even expected that we would not be able to pressure AR much. GB has one of the best OLs in the NFL. Maybe as good or better then ours. We knew that and expected it. We also knew that if we could score on GB, it would be tough for them to beat us. We didn't expect the fumble. I think it's fair to say that the loss was not all on Murray but I also think it's fair to say that if he doesn't fumble there, we win. JMO

Edit:

Neglected to add this in my original post. While I do believe that we win against GB if Murray doesn't fumble, I would also point out that nobody needs to point this out to Murray. I watched the replay of this game just this past weekend. Murray's body language after that play said it all. He knew and he understood. I think Murray is a quality person and pretty damn good Football Player as well. He knows.
