To think....97% of this board had him cut his rookie year.
I don't see the comparison between Steele vs Jaylon.I could see this one going badly like Jaylon Smith. In this case you have to lock up good linemen. Steele has shown improvement every year.
Those doubting are like those saying hippies and rednecks will never get together.Potential bookend tackles in this league, its expensive but well worth it.
We seeing that OP'd - work on further contracts now?I could see this one going badly like Jaylon Smith. In this case you have to lock up good linemen. Steele has shown improvement every year.
As always, we will need to see the contract details.Devil's in the details.
I bet this is a contract that is restructure friendly.
It’s the Cowboys and it’s a 5 year deal…Steele will be restructured a minimum of 3 times. But on the flip side, that always makes the 4th and 5th year potentially scary. Need Steele to be 100% healthy and continue to improve.Devil's in the details.

Just never worked out for the Hatfields and Mckoys, but yep. Those doubting are like those saying hippies and rednecks will never get together.
A very good player, but why so dam much. They couldn’t have gotten him for 65 million as an un drafted player coming off a knee injury?Insanity.
You still need money for other players.Potential bookend tackles in this league, it’s expensive but well worth it.
I have my money on Lamb and Parsons getting extended nextInsanity.
Hatfields and McKoys eventually cross married and the feud ended...the other was support for a style of music.Just never worked out for the Hatfields and Mckoys, but yep.
