Newman should be released - his loss of Rice at the LOS was unforgivable and it should the end of his overrated career in Dallas - the last of the losing players on this team.

Wade went gutless on 4th and 1 and kicked a 48yd FG when his team was pummeling the Vikes DL.

People who wanted Free over Colombo were right as well - Marco needs to go.

the thing that put the icing on the cake with the kicker situation, and why i still think wade isnt a great head coach, but a very good defensive coordiantor is 2 things.

First, do you remember the running into the punter, and wade declined the penalty, then after he got shown what happened, wade changed his mind, the head coach should know all rules in the nfl and have his team prepared for every scenario.

Next, jerry jones said it in a press conference after the game, that suisham wasnt hitting any field goals beyond 44 yards, in practice before the game, and the cowboys knew that going in, but what does wade do, he tries a field goal longer than 44 yards, a very dumb stupid move. You just lost field position.

again, even jerry jones said they knew that suisham wasnt kicking field goals past 44 yards, and wade still tries.

DUMB MOVE

CBs are tough to find - we keep him warts and all for now. He is good in coverage but does fall asleep once in awhile. BTW, the first Rice TD was on Sensabaugh, not TNew. The second was on defense design on a broken play. The third was offensive PI.

Joe, I think you should put in an application for the Head Coaching position...

Interesting to say the least that they knew Suisham was struggling from that range.

I agree, keep Newman and move him to number two. He loses sight of his assignment one to many times for me. That first TD was a great play by the Vikings but had Newman handled his assignment and jammed the receiver off the line it may not have even been.

If Scandrick could take over I would release him. He's a *****.

Yeah, that makes it even worse that they went for FG instead of going for it on 4th down.

It's about 50-50 that Wade and company gets canned. Unfortunately, I don't really see a coach that Jerry would want out there that would provide him a hometown discount (like Wade) and still allow him to be in charge behind the scenes. Maybe Frazier or Rivera, but I think JJones plays this down and looks to build on the current teams weaknesses.

Newman is not the issue and nor is the decision to go for it or not early in the game. People, we lost 34-3. I thik there was plenty of time to make up for that decision.

It's idiotic to want to get rid of Newman but I just assume you are bitter right now and will come to your senses. Sensabaugh had coverage but did not turn his head.

Changes are needed but I think we should look at the O Line and bring in folks that our coaching staff and ownership will let compete for the jobs. Competition is what's missing IMO. look at what it did for Jenkins. Flozell and Colombo should no tbe handed the job and Marion should not either. If negative plays are what derails us far too often (and I think they are), I'm not sure Marion should be on this team. I am still trying to figure out what he brought to us this season.

Dumb, Newman isn't playing lights-out this season but is still a top-tier CB. Those do not grow on trees. I don't think Scandrik is ready or would outplay Newman. Dumb to even think about cutting a very good CB.

...cornerbacks and safeties get beat sometimes...the Dallas defense had been on quite a run since the beginning of December...Jenkins got beat just last week...sometimes it happens...

...Suisham and the offense contributed nothing today and it really is a shame because that defense today played well enough to at least make it a competitive showing...two years consecutive they end a season without scoring a touchdown...

...sometimes you have to concede to the better team, which Minnesota clearly was today...Dallas has issues with red-zone efficiency, kicking, offensive-tackles, #2 WR and RB rotation...get that fixed and try again next year...

...and contrary to what was reported during pregame on the radio. They claimed that he was hitting from 50 yards.

My bet is on Jerry being drunk when he made that comment.

Jenkins didn't jam Berrian off the line on that play, either. Both cornerbacks were playing off the ball, and neither one jammed the receiver. Maybe that's the defense that was called.

Newman played soft today and I saw him make several "business decisions" today as Deion would say.
