That was my biggest complaint about Williams last year .. that he catches with his body most of the time rather than his hands. The best receivers use their hands because they can cover a wider target area. Hopefully, that's why he's working on it!

Michael Irvin caught with his body too.

I think Williams and Escobar could be much improved this year.

Good to see.

Williams route running is better than just about every rookie that I've seen coming into the league. He is awfully smooth for such a young guy. That's why he had such a good rookie season.

I'm really looking for a big jump in production in year two. A really mature young man. Takes the game very seriously.

Talk about a good 3rd round pick. Getting him and Frederick for the single first round pick was truly a steal.

I was very happy with the play of Williams last year and to see the time he has put in during the off season I fully expect him to take the next step in becoming a top NFL WR

that was the most impressive thing to me. he really looked polished in his routes. if someone does the little things then they usually are successful. i expect him to continue to improve and someday be a very good player

Good observation and true outside of some of the flashier sideline grabs he had.

every WR catches with his body in certain situations including the great Jerry Rice.

Irvin was notorious for it on slant routes where he used his bigger size to bracket defenders away from the ball. The "mid jump" slant. Moss was a big body catcher as well but also had amazing hands. It is best to have both in your game and both be utilized depending on the situation, highest point of ball, etc.

It is my contention this will be the most improved player on the team, and coming close to Dez as MVP outside of Romo.

Fact is I think the MVP for this offense will go

Romo
Dez
Williams/Murray
Smith
Freddie/Zach-Attack

For those who believe I don't get excited about this game and this team during this time of year, you would be way wrong.
