Terrance Williams preferred Romo over Dak

The series should counter any argument concerning the front office and/or Jason Garrett's 'supreme' concern for Tony Romo's health. Any injury can occur at any time regardless whether the opposing defense is composed completely of either college or Hall of Fame all-stars. The nature of football did not change during that particular singular series.
But Tony hadn't played a full season the past two years prior to his retirement. Football players don't get better as they age. See Tryon Smith as an example. Shrug.

That observation, while true, does not offset the fact that Romo saw the field that series. Where is the logic if the longstanding argument has been that the front office retired Romo because of their fear he would suffer severe and permanent life-changing or life-threatening injury?

I am not stating that is something you have ever argued. However, it has been a conversational cornerstone since 2016.

The defenses we had with Romo as QB and the offensive line at times was criminal.
As far as Romo & Dak's careers go, before Quinn we only had a couple of what you might call good defenses. I don't recall any that I'd call great defenses. Yes I know we've had a few ranked in the top 10, but I seriously question that ranking.

Hate when you simply post at all. We’d like to for one see you post without leaning on a schtick.
Life, unfortunately, is full of disappointments.
Take you, for instance. We thought you were a manly man but yer schochlocky posts reveal you to be anything but.
So, be a big boy, Mamathon. Wear that cute pastels pant suit and blend into the crowd and all will leave you be.
Don't you miss being a man?

'America's Cowboy' -- on the other hand, Dallas had the far superior offense over Tampa Bay going into the playoffs.
Cowboys averaged 27.5 points per game for 4th place during the 2022 regular season (behind only Chiefs, Bills, Eagles).
Buccaneers averaged 18.4 points per game = 25th place.
The Cowboys had the better scoring Offense thanks to a few key starters but very limited weapons. Meanwhile, the Buccaneers had much better talented weapons and the G.O.A.T.... but couldn't get it together for most of the season.

I'm sure Dez did too. And if Cooper played with Tony, I'm sure he would too.

Tony made no-named receivers known until they got a decent contract and then they were soon forgotten when they went somewhere else to play with lesser QBs.

Because that was the Eagles 3rd string out there lol.
Objectively, Dak played for 2 drives and could only manage a field goal. That ended up being 15 snaps (13 excluding special teams). There was only one Eagles defensive starter that played less than 19 snaps (all of Dak and Romo's snaps combined).

Check for yourself if you want Boxscore. You can scroll down to the middle for snap counts.

People that go on about the Eagles benching all of their starters for Romo are hilarious because they show they don't care about facts, they just want to push a false narrative.

Oh, really? You should do some homework before commenting and spreading false information.

For the record, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers had the 10th best Defense in 2022 by giving up an average of 324.3 yards/game, whereas the 49ers were in 1st with giving up an average of 300.6 ...

The Cowboys D was in 12th place, giving up an average of 330.2 yards/game.

In other words, Dak faced a top 10 Defense against the Buccaneers at their place in the playoffs, while Brady faced a 12th ranked D in Dallas. The challenge was harder for Dak than it was for Brady. Buccaneers had a top 10 defense. So much for the false rhetoric.
Damn, dude. My point was this....

You said the non-Daksters were pissed when the Cowboys (and Dak) beat the Bucs. No one was pissed. NO ONE, not one single person.

You said the non-Daksters were elated when he threw the picks against SF and contributed to the loss. No one was happy when that happened. NO ONE, not one single person. I was pissed, not happy. I'm so flippin' tired of this team not being able to get over the hump year after year after year. Most of us are just pissed off at the losing and the owner not giving a damn about it.
