I will also confirm that TWill never used Twitter and his “brother and gang” to play contract negotiations in the public, who played the race card and basically said things like Romo got paid because he was white and Dak isn’t getting paid because of skin color even though he’s “elite”

Did you guys even watch the full interview? He was praising Dak to death and even said he was a top 5 QB in the league right now. He just had to choose between Romo or Dak because of the question they had asked him.

No you don’t.. and your whole schtick for Dak has been the coaching, including Moore, and Moore being part of “the Garrett tree” as a lack of Dak’s success. And I’ve told you Dak fanboys so many times Garrett and Moore are completely different, even though they are from the Coryell tree. And TWill once again confirms Khiladi is right.
Confirmed you were right about what lol? All you ever do is say Dak sucked in 2017 lol....Did you hear what T-Will said about Dak lol? He hyped him up too lol.

And I never once blamed Moore for Dak's lack of success I blamed Moore for our teams lack of success.

Same for Crayton, Hurd, Austin, Robinson, etc. Romo made them.
Martellus Bennett got better getting the hell up out of here lol.

I don't know why you guys list Robinsona nd Hurd...as if they had great careers in Dallas lol. Miles Austin is the only one who did and hamstrings hurt his career.

I still believe the good QBs, or veteran QBs can call their own plays. It's better that they don't, because they take enough heat now as it is. Dak is the one out there playing, you can't tell me he couldn't call his own plays.

I could be wrong, but didn't Dak change up that one play against the Eagles back in 2018? That TD pass to Cooper. He's been here for 7 years now. He's going to know if crap is coming in from the sidelines.
Dak still can't dissect what the defense is at the line of scrimmage by using motion and fake counts. Only the elite ones can.

Doesn't mean he sucks. He's just not one of those rare cerebral QBs that figure out all out. Romo did, but he was almost physically broken by then.

Of course he did.

Romo made stars out of average receivers. Miles Austin, Laurent Robinson, Patrick Crayton, Sam Hurd, Terrance Williams, and even Dez Bryant to an extent....

He got those guys paid well beyond their actual ability. They disappeared when they left or after Romo retired.
Cole Beasley did not disappear.

And when the hell did anyone consider Laurent Robinson, Crayton, Sam Hurd or Terrance Williams a star? Haha this is a joke lol.

They got paid handsomely because of Romo.

Bennett was an unpredictable knucklehead who was playing behind Witten and wouldn't run the correct routes here.

Did they not get paid big money when they left? Teams thought very highly of them, then found out they were Romo products.

That's the point. You are really, really bad at this.

During his six-year NFL career, Hurd appeared in 77 games and caught 53 passes for 739 yards with two touchdowns.

CONTRACT TERMS:3 yr(s) / $4,150,000

What in the hell lol....he got paid "handsomely"? On what planet?

6 years in the league and he was too old?

He was a solid pick and served his role. I believe we hoped he'd improve, but he didn't reach the ceiling we wanted so we moved on.
Played fine with Romo, Dak not so much but that goes for all WRs

Laurent Robinson
  • 4 year career before Romo---nothing, ave 1 TD per year
  • year with Romo--near top of league w/ 11 TDs, also 854 yards
  • career after Romo---nothing, 0 TDs

It doesn't get any more obvious than that

I use to think that too but then I could never explain why they put him in the Philly game. To me it was to give him a nice send off but why would you risk his health against a bad Eagles team?
Romo had not decided to retire yet and they were giving him the opportunity to show he was healthy and able to play. They felt they owed that to him.

First time I heard a QB calling their own plays was Jim Kelly, then Peyton Manning.
Years ago that used to be standard for veteran QBs. Elway also called his own plays in a few games. One game for sure.

You're bad at this. They didn't light the world on fire WITH Romo lol.

Crayton left here and went to San Diego and was on pace to have the best year of his career in 2010...He averaged 18.4 a catch which is the highest of his career lol. Had 514 Yards and 28 catches in only 9 games lol.

Crayton got TRADED so he didn't get paid big money when he left here.

Sam Hurd got a 3 Year 4 million dollar deal from the Bears.
Laurent Robinson did sign a 32.5 million dollar deal at the time which was a big deal at the time though not sure why he got so much when he coudln't evne get 1k yards but he did.

Miles Austin signed a 1 year, $2,000,000 contract with the Cleveland Browns

So no...these guys were NEVER stars and no one paid them to be stars when leaving here. You guys hang your hat on Laurent Robinson as proof Romo made guys better lol. And then you go to the extent of LYING and saying they got paid big money leaving here when they didnt' aside from Robinson.

But that goes against your original statement that they cared so much about him that they sat him right?

He was effective here, especially the last couple of years. He showed great promise with Romo and got paid WAY above his pedigree.

Same for other guys. That's the point.

Please with the stats. There's only one football and he wasn't the lead dog here by any means. Chicago thought he could be for them because of what Romo did with him in limited chances.

How do not understand this?

On my gawd. You're like debating football with my mom. You don't have the cerebral capacity to have this discussion.

Amari kept yelling at him to change it, begging multiple times, as Dak had no idea the DBs were sitting on their routes with no safety help over the top.
Yeah, and then at some point Dak gave Cooper the go ahead. Similar to what Romo did with Dez back in 2014. He gave Dez the thumbs up from under center.
