He was hurt every year. He didn't miss most of the season this past year for once but he still faded after yet another leg injury.

Meanwhile Thornton got better as the year went on.

I rather take the chance and not pay McClain. Thornton is very capable and I'm sure we will found a solid rotational player. We found McClain as a backup on the Texans and I'm sure we can find another contributor from someone else's roster.

I believe Hankins stats were equivalent if not worse than McClain's and he benefited from playing next to Harrison. I don't want him.

Was slightly above average on a dline that was average at best all season.

He preformed best in a contract year (insert surprised face).. as we found him from the scrapes of the Texans cuts we can find another or just pay someone who will be better and more reliable

Richardson has Hardy written all over him. But I'd take a flyer on him for a year. I'd try and work something out for a 4th next year that could go up to a 3rd depending on production. We really don't have much to give up this year and I definitely wouldn't give up anything higher than a 4th.....
