i think its hilarious. owens is a **** human being and karma is biting him. of course his numbers are HOF worthy, but his attitude and overall image sucked and its killing him now.

eagle fans cant even get their beloved b dawk into the hall of fame :lmao2::lmao2::lmao2:

"**** human being"? You know him personally or something?

All I ever saw was a dude with a huge ego playing a game with an attitude that rubbed some the wrong way, it's not like we're talking about the military or something.

He did more than rub a handful of people the wrong way. He was a locker room killer at times.

Because he had a huge ego, and even worse, the skills to back it up.

There are no bad players that destroy locker rooms, those guys are always pretty good. Which means someone had to make the decision to bring him in.

T.O. was always T.O, so maybe the people that should be getting the hate and finger wagging are the people above him who made the call to bring him into their locker rooms.

Teammates basically couldn't wait for him to leave. He burned virtually every bridge he crossed.

I'm not saying I like him, but calling him a "**** human being" like he murdered someone is a little dramatic.

Sure but also acting incredulous that he didn't get in right away is also dramatic.

He's getting punished for being a cruddy teammate. I think it's righteous to make him stew a few years.

What are they going to do next year when Randy Moss is eligible? Put him in over TO? Moss had his issues as well. Will they make him wait?

Ray Lewis, he's got issues (dead bodies). They going to make him wait?

Not a TO fan, but he should have gotten in.
Did Lewis wrick locker rooms? Did Moss? There's a difference between having problems with the media/public/law and causing problems between teammates. Locker room is considered part of the field as far as I'm concerned.

I assume you're referencing someone else, because I wasn't incredulous about his not getting in.

What's wrick?

Donovan McNabb today said he should have gotten in. Jerry Rice spoke for him. People that actually played the game. And the last time I checked, getting crossways with the law is a locker room distraction and an embarrassment to the league.

This selection process is ridiculous. They should all be in next year, but TO will still be waiting and the NFL HOF will take another black eye in my book, just like it did with Haley.

Yeah if he was just a wife beater or drug addict then he'd be the kind of guy the press could get behind.

The HOF has become the hall of the very good and if you are not a media darling you will have a hard time getting in.

"Randy Moss good" - he was a different breed, a post runner. He did this greatly, he never became that brilliant route runner. Owens was a possession receiver, both best at what they did.

And Randy Moss was a piece of crap. Yeah, Owens was a me player. But do not ever tell me he's not a "Moss" when Moss put down a family owned food chain straight to their face in the locker room which got him kicked off the Vikings team during his second stint. He's garbage and was a quitter.

If Moss' nonsense can be overlooked, so can Owens. You induct people on how they performed, not tabloid fodder.

Also, what the heck was Irvin? He started the WR diva crap. Injured a teammate. Was a "me" player. Druggy. Do we still glorify the 90s Cowboys?

Exactly well said. Is this the HOF for players who excelled or are we judging them by ****** level for entrance.

The Hall of Fame is for players who made their teams better.

More often than not, Owens made his teams worse, by sowing all sorts of havoc in the locker room.
