June remembers late nights talking with Terry about what a wonderful life could come from football. One day, the dream goes, they would both be in the NFL. They would play for the same team, live in the same neighborhood. They would each have their own mansion just a few blocks away.

Terry, the realist, laughs. It would be nice just to make it, he says.

"It was worse for a long, long time. This is not all that good now," Glenn says. "Without having Mom here, I don't think there is anything that can make me really happy. I might have money, a wife and kids, and Ill still be trying to learn how to be happy."

I pray for Terry, i hope he can find happiness and peace in his life.

Terrell Owens didn't have a great childhood as well, and he grew up with his grand-ma, without parents. He doesn't do drugs

At least not the kind he can't swallow a bottle at a time.

I prefer people who keep their demons of the self inflicted variety. If Terry Glenn beat a woman I hope he gets prosecuted to the full letter of the law. But for the most part he's kept his demons to himself. TO and PacMan enjoy sharing their wealth of drama like cancers. I would prefer TO to quietly smoke weed alone than divide a lockeroom to suit his narcissistic ego. I might even find PacMan a sympathetic figure had he just made a mistake or two and had claimed he had straightened up his act ... but 13 run ins with the law over a 2 year period and continues to to have problems shows he's for the most part a dirtbag, and society will be a better place when he's behind bars.

Keep the excuses coming...

Your hypocrisy is obvious... Terry Glenn has a track record as well, like Pac-man, that extends to his past including beating women... TO doesn't beat women, nor has he been caught doing drugs or peeing in public places. He's never had a criminal record.

You justified Terry Glenn's crimes based upon his past demons...

One more time for you:

You justified Terry Glenn's crimes based upon his past, the same type of past that Pac-man has had and TO...

The irony of it all when it concerns a Parcells boy and a guy you have alwasy defended as a class act...

Since he's been arrested again I look for the Cowboys to sign him in no time. This is exactly what Jones is looking for.

You'll have point out exactly where I justified Glenn for his past demons.

I said he has problems in his life. I also said I hope he defeats them. I also said I hope he's convicted to the letter of the law if he did something illegal.

But if you could please be so kind as to where I justified his actions.

I'll await your response.... with quote in hand.

Until then, I'll just write off the accusation as a byproduct of your reading comprehension .. which is typically abysmal.

Also, do you care to retract your statement of how Terrell Owens doesn't touch a drug, when in fact he had to be rushed to the hospital for touching them a bottle at a time.

This arrest must mean Jerry will re-sign him, probably right after PacMan is brought back. ;)

Seriously, how many of you defending him now were accusing him of stealing 5 million of Jerry's money in 2007?

Ah yes, you just went on about how bad his life was growing up for the sake of it, as if it had no connection with what he is doing now.. Quit playing the game... Your soap orpea about his demons was a lame attempt at justification, as well as a pathetic attempt to make it feel like he needs to be sympathized with...

Like I said, spare me... And seriously, you still haven'[t brought up a single crime of Owens, or any act on the level of what Glenn has done... One more time for you, Owens hasn't done anything on the level of Glenn, when it comes to illegal drugs and beating women, and urinating in public places, and so on and so forth.. When is mixing legal supplements causing effects that are unknown using drugs.. Oh yeah, they aren't.. That's why Owens wasn't arrested. Buut guess what? Glenn was..

Again, why aren't you sympathizing with Owens, who didn't have parents growing up... Let me guess? He wasn't a Parcells boy...

Too bad for the guy.

He had as a good a set of hands as anyone that ever played the position. Had speed and quicks, moves, ran great routes, could tip-toe the sideline and make any acrobatic catch you wanted.

He was about as complete as a receiver could be.

With all the other fireworks going on in Dallas the past couple of years its easy to forget how good he played for the Cowboys.

His complete single game torching of Philly with Bledsoe was my best memory of him in Dallas.

Actually, his career here was exxaggerated... He very rarely played a full season... Look at his stats...

Huh? I never said anything about his durability.

When he was on the field he was a top notch talent.

He obviously has had a hard time adjusting to not playing anymore - a lot of pro athletes have this happen. Sad. When he was healthy he was one of the best deep threats in the game and pretty much did it all.
He was one of BP's better picks in FA.

Yeah cause anyone who pisses outside, gets drunk or smokes some pot has to be out of control.
