Texan Owner Going To Display Cup!!!!!

I'm a Laker fan and this reminds me of when the Clipps beat the Lakers, their franchise goes nuts. I guess when you are the ugly cousin in the family, you have to be giddy and proud at these so called every day events.

As explained last night, up until 1996, it was a tradition between the Oilers and the Cowboys. And it was always put up for grabs every year, regular season and preseason. For some reason, after the Texans entered the league, it was just limited to the regular season. That was another slap in the face after the 19-10 debacle.

Anywho, it's no biggie. They'll have a little fun with it until the 'boys play them again next year in the preseason. One thing I noticed was yesterday there was a lot of regional play between teams. So, I'm wondering why some of these other teams don't have "Cups" or trophies of some kind.

did we get the cup for wipping their arses last year?

That was so much fun we may put the Cup in the lobby and let fans come by and rub it," (Quote from Texans owner Bob McNair)

I came across this quote in one of the articles I was reading after the game.

CAN YOU FREAKING BELIEVE THIS, DISPLAYING A FREAKING PRESEASON TROPHY LIKE IT IS A LOMBARDI OR SOMETHING.

So their fans are going to come by and rub it....LOL!!!!

What a loser franchise, I would be freaking embarrassed if my team was displaying a freaking preseason trophy and acting like they just won the SB.

Freaking sad:laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2:

What's sad is how many people here care what Houston is doing.

Should he be displaying his cup? and letting people rub it?

1. Isnt that too personal?
2. Isnt that against the law?
:laugh2:

Yes, we did.

There's actually some ceremony of some kind with the owners handing off the Cup. When they beat the boys in 2002, Jerry had to give it McNair who had it until 2006. Now they're going back to the tradition of whenever they play one another, so Jerry had to give it up this year.

Jerry explained on Special Edition that when the Texans beat them in 2002, that McNair never gave that trophy back when the Cowboys won. They have a different trophy now.

woah woah woah.....since when does the winner of this game get a trophy?

that is the lamest thing i've ever heard of.

that would indicate that this game actually means SOMETHING and it doesn't.

we actually agreed to this?
