We can use a run defender at LBer…. Take him off the field on passing downs. Right now LVE is playing without any power or grit in the run game. Definitely worth looking at— even if it is as a role player on D.

I don’t think Quinn has any more interest in one dimensional linebackers. That’s why he’s using Kearse and Neal so much. Cunningham would upgrade our run defense, but he’s not going to do anything for the pass D. I’m guessing that don’t even make an attempt.
