I disagree. I think he clears waivers at his salary he's getting paid.
His cap hit this yr isn't bad, but the in 2022, you are right. Not sure how it works, but I believe the new team can cut him without a dead money hit. You could be right, but still believe he doesn't pass through the waiver process.

If he's not vaccinated, one just can't really count on him. I don't recall any one asking us deploying in Desert Storm if we wanted the anthrax vaccination or not...
They didn’t ask they forced the vaccinations on you. What’s the #. 42?

I may have misunderstood your post

What's the argument for why you don't think he will though? Didn't seem to be playing that great before he got released...grossly overpaid....seems like he's the OBJ of linebackers lol.

Which really makes you wonder what the deal was
Guy has real talent but something has to be going on for them to release him now

He wasn't getting along with coaches and was late acouple times to meetings.

Honestly it's like he gave up on a loosing tram, just like everyone else on that teM they want off

We can use a run defender at LBer…. Take him off the field on passing downs. Right now LVE is playing without any power or grit in the run game. Definitely worth looking at— even if it is as a role player on D.

We are paper thin at LBer for sure
As cheap as he is I don’t see him falling to ys

I think a nice one year deal would suffice. No need to do anything drastic with him. Bring him in and see what he can do. We need another Lb, and he could help us. What is there to lose?

The drop off is attributed to scheme change in Houston. His play was worthy of a big contract before.

Yeah I figured....and I think that's going to be the same issue with Cunningham? Why not wait to sign him for the minimum when he clears waivers?
He’s real cheap this year
OBJ wasn’t that cheap
This guys cap hit is almost nothing
He was restructured so he’s dirt cheap
And even more reason to question why
But at that price I’d be finding out what his deal was for sure
Though I doubt he falls far in waivers

He immediately makes our run defense better. We have all seen what happens when we cant stop the run in the playoffs.

Maybe
Not sure I agree with his tactics but at his price I’d be finding out

And wouldn’t be the drag-down tackler afraid of contact that LVE has sadly become.

Because his reworked salary puts him in that range already.

Dallas should definitely look into bringing him in. However, his contract is friendly enough that someone could make a waiver claim on him before he gets to free agency. He has no more guaranteed money past 2021 and the Texans are eating the $12.8M cap hit. I think he is only owed $300,000 for the rest of this season and can be released after the season without cap ramifications.

Doubt he gets through Waivers. But, if he does, sign him Jerry and Stephen.
Yes!!!!

Is he free to sign anywhere? If so, Dallas needs to be all over this.

I am going to look for 2021 videos but based on his 2020 video he looks better than LVE and Neal. He gets into the hole faster than LVE can imagine. He is a better tackler than LVE and he beat blockers to the play while LVE waits for the play to come to him. If he is as good as he looks I doubt he gets to the Cowboys before someone else signed him, unless he has other issues that would be a problem for some teams.
