So we get a potential 7th for a player that was playing to give up a 7th for a nobody off someone’s practice squad... cool.

This guy is an absolute monster..I've seen videos of him playing backyard ball vs his two sons...legit looks like a man amongst boys
That explains all the teams he's man'd up for so far.

He is Currently listed at 6’3” and 325. He has some NFL experience and strength.

He is obviously not a starting caliber player, but We cut a starting DT and owe it to the rest of the defense to at least put some size in the rotation. If he can help plug a running lane in the rotation, that’s a decent addition. The fact that he is only 25 is also good.

Someone likely already mentioned this, but we don't have a 7th round pick in the upcoming draft. It was traded for Michael Bennett. Now, that trade was a conditional 7th that could covert to a 6th, so maybe it converted to a 6th by meeting whatever the conditions were, and I'm just not aware of that. But I thought I read somewhere that it was staying a 7th, which means our next 7th round pick isn't until the 2022 draft.

never trade picks unless you think said player makes the entire team better NOW. The guy may be gone before the season is done.

Or at least trade a conditional pick. I don’t want to exaggerate, it’s a 7th round pick after all, but this is just dumb.
