Why mask the original post as a Texas coast post when it was the usual stale “take that Dak haters” drivel.

As for the Texas Coast offense or whatever you want to call coach Mac running Kellen’s offense, this year they are 8-3 with top 5 offense. Last year started 10-3 and top 5 offense. Seems right on schedule and likely with more points from the defense though I haven’t tallied up defensive scoring. Just guessing on that with all the pick 6s.

This new Texas Coast Offense is starting to really hit its stride. Has been since week 4. It looks like Dak has a full grasp of it now. Dak was never the problem with the offense. The scheme was the issue. Predictable and too conservative. Many of us knew that it wasn’t the QB. Dak’s always been a top 5 QB talent. Now, he’s shut up the haters many of whom have totally disappeared. Give MM boukou credit for the changes he’s made.

Looking forward to this tough stretch coming up so the team can shut up the remaining haters. Still tons of them around.

He's playing great, now he has to do it when it matters most. No excuses.

I never solely blamed him for the loss, but I did say he failed to be clutch on the last drive when the team needed him to be. That's a far cry from saying he's responsible for the entire game when he wasn't.

Fact 2: The schedule has been very soft
Fact 3: The schedule is getting much tougher

Dak must take that next step. Dak must maintain Fact 1 while playing Fact 3.

I think they have to win 4 of tbe next 5 to get peoples attention. I just don't know if it's going to happen

I didn't realize it was just Dak out there and not 10 other players on offense helping him. I was hoping this thread was going to be about how the whole offense is working together because the offense IS doing quite well, but nope, that's not how it went.

No, Dak was part of the problem. A big reason he's been better is his willingness to run with the ball, whether scrambling to buy time or running for first downs. It seems to my eyes that he's been much better at leading his receivers and dropping dimes.
