I think with the way Bynum and Diggs played last year, they are on their way to becoming DBU again.MC KAos;4552707 said:hopefully we can go back to being DBU!

As you may know, Smith is another DB out of Sugar Land that the Horns have interest in. It's really going to come down to who signs first IMO. Texas is recruiting Smith, Cole Luke and Colin Janice at CB. It will probably come down to which one commits first.

I can't think of one right now, it isn't what UT commits do. We just offered chevetski(sp?) collins and I hear things are heating up with Georgia S vonn bell and we are deeper in the hunt than people realize.
akina is taking trips to bell and luke in the next couple of weeks. In other news WR robbie rhodes has been told he will be offered this weekend at the state track meet

The30YardSlant;4554409 said:His character might come into question after two arrests in the last year and a half. He was just arrested again this weekend for tearing up a bar while drunk.

rkell87;4555074 said:lol no he and alex okafor and barret mathews were in line at a pizza place and were asked to leave and refused. no charges were filed
The30YardSlant;4555112 said:The story goes they were in a bar on sixth street, got drunk, Vaccaro threw up all over the bathroom and tore some stuff up and they bailed. They then went down the street to a Pizza joint, got in a shoving match and were arrested outside by cops who followed them from the bar. They would then not listen to officers commands and had to be restrained. They were charged with a class c misdemeanor and will likely serve community service, though the bar (owned by a former Texas law student) did not file destruction of property charges.
MC KAos;4555117 said:the story? the article i read from espndallas didnt mention any of that! why dont you show us a good source for your claim and then we can discuss this seriously.
Three University of Texas football players -- reserve tight end Barrett Matthews, starting defensive end Alex Okafor and starting strong safety Kenny Vaccaro -- were arrested outside of a downtown Austin pizza parlor at 1:29 am Monday, according to various reports.
The players were charged with failure to obey a lawful order, a Class C misdemeanor.
The30YardSlant;4555125 said:Every story covers the Pizza joint incident, the arrest and the misdemeanor charge. Here's one for you:

That's the official story. The part about the bar incident is being talked about on various Texas boards who claim they were there or saw them leaving. A guy on Orangebloods said he watched Vaccaro throw a glass aginst the wall and take out a line of glasses/drinks on the bar before leaving. It sounds like the owner is a big Texas fan and tried to keep it under wraps by not filing charges.
MC KAos;4555128 said:again, those are not credible sources, im not saying its not true, but i doubt NFL teams are going to go ask people on UT boards about what they saw when they are evaluating them come next april.
The30YardSlant;4555130 said:I don't think a bunch of Texas fans would make something like that up about their own players. Just sayin. And unless I'm mistaken this was Vaccaro's second arrest.
