Mack needs to put Whaley in the game and start running more. I dont like having only 50 yds rushing in the game

Whaley's not ready. I'd like to see him though. Known his family forever. Hometown boy.

Texas was driving down the field.......and once again McGee fumbled. Get him out of the game.

Use CJ, Monroe, Whaley, Whittaker, and Newton. I cant stand fumblers.

Well at least we forced a fumble and got the ball right back...Acho with the recovery

Im disappointed with so many big plays given up. We are lucky it was Louisiana Monroe....give up those big plays against a quality opponent and we are toast.

On offense, I am pleased with everything but the fumbles. We need to hold on to the rock better.

59-20 is a good way to start the season. Now let's build upon it cause Tech comes to town in 2 weeks.

I'm worried about our defense. Hopefully it was just first game jitters.

You can't get Colt the Heisman running the ball 40 times a game... :D

Don't bet on it. Sooners lose early every year it seems and always end up top 5 a few games later.

Sooners aren't done for the year - at least not yet. They lost 1 game last year and weren't done, and if there were ever such a thing as a "good loss" in college football, then this is it. If Oklahoma is among a bunch of teams with 1 loss all trying to get into the BCS Championship, then I think they would have the inside track because (A) early losses don't hurt as much as late losses, and (B) they lost without their starting QB, which the pollsters will remember.

Of course, having said that, I think Texas is going to blow Oklahoma out of the water next month and then they'll be done. The rest of September is a cakewalk for Oklahoma, so I expect we'll see Bradford again in 4 weeks against Miami.

But if Oklahoma manages to beat Texas, I just don't see any other L's on their schedule prior to a big final week showdown against OSU, by which point Oklahoma would no doubt be back in the thick of the National Championship picture.

They'll lose at least 3 games in the REG season and that is with Bradford.

If they can't protect the QB or Run Block than they will be a mess.

They also play the same old defense that constantly gets them beat. Rush 4 and drop 7 and when you blitz go ahead and show where your blitz is coming from.

It is such a joke and im happy that they are so stuck in the system they run.

I think it was or just early season jitters. We didn't look that great last year at the beginning of the season. Remember the Utep game. There was no way you even thought we would stay on the same field with OU the way we played against Utep. But somehow they got it together. I think it will be the same this season. I would like to see them establish the ground game a bit more though.
