Texas Stadium has to be LOUD

From my experience Texas Stadium has always been pretty docile when it comes to crowd noise. We're not like Arrowhead/Mile High/Seattle when it comes to being loud.

Texas Stadium with its enclosed architecture type is perfect for generating noise and we'll need it this Sunday. We all know how Peyton loves to audible and we need to give the defense all the help it can get.

I'm hoping all the fans that go to the game know how big this one we'll be and are ready to scream their frickin' heads off.

^ It can get really loud. I agree totally with your take though. If the Cowboys are playing well, I bet the crowd will really be into it -- especially with Romo back for his first start at home.

What fake noise?

Some stadiums like Seattle and Indy have supposedly piped in fake crowd noise over the loudspeakers to make their stadiums even louder for opposing offenses.

there was all kinds of rumors that they were playing recorded crowd noise through the speakers in the stadium last year.

I hope Texas Stadium is super loud. And no booing, no matter what happens.

The thing that drives me crazy is how much noise the fans make when we are in the red zone. I would say it is the loudest in Texas Stadium when WE have the football, which is ridiculous.

There are always people around me yelling at everyone to get up and make noise when we are driving down the field. I always stand up and do the shut up wave with my arms but of couse it doesn't work...hell it doesn't even work if our players on the field ask for quietness.

As cheesy as it sounds, they should show a video to these idiots before the game explaining when you should be loud and when you shouldn't.:banghead:

Heck, even the Carolina Panthers fans shut up when their team had the ball.

Texas Stadium and loud don't belong in the same sentence or paragraph. They don't even belong in the same book

freakin Emmitt Smith even wrote about it in his book called "The Emmitt Zone" about how unfortunate it was that Texas Stadium was as dead as it was, even during the Super Bowl years

So don't count on it

I want the crowd to be loud because it helps pump our guys up as they feed off the crowd. As for Manning the noise is not going to affect him one way or the other. Colts will use a silent count and his chemistry with his weapons will not be altered by the noise.

it may start off loud, but don't worry. as soon as Indy completes their first 10 yard pass, or does something remotely good, expect the crowd to sit on their hands and *** and apply duct tape to their mouths for the rest of the game

our fans don't know how to support a team for the duration of a game like others do, unless the team is 100% perfect or up 100 to 0, which is impossible

I have been to many games at TS and your right for the most part the crowd is not noisy but I have been to games where that particular crowd was rocking the joint. Myself I have never left TS with my voice in tact, it normally takes 2 to 3 days before I can talk without my voice cracking.

They should have a CowboysZone section at every game to set an example. Who is with me? Someone call Jerry.

I doubt anyone that's hardcore enough to post here at cowboyszone would have problems getting up for their team

TornACL is right... we should all go to a game sometime and set a damn example

I think the deal is that there are so many fans coming to game for the first time, you get that sort of response. There are more of those than season ticket holders, etc.

I have to say not many like me, I refuse to boo the team I will shout out comments of encouragement like put that one behind you guys, lets go but refuse to boo my beloved Cowboys I never felt booing was any type of encouragement for any team. I may joke with fans of the other team but always in a joking manner never disrespecting them or treating them poorly. As said by games end I have lost my voice each and every single time. :laugh2:

I've never been a booer and can't stand it myself. Now, I do yell like hell during the games!
