I doubt anyone that's hardcore enough to post here at cowboyszone would have problems getting up for their team

TornACL is right... we should all go to a game sometime and set a damn example

I agree. It is aggregating when the crowd is silent at TS, I see places like KC or Green Bay going nuts and that is how I wish our fans would be week in and week out. Let the players know you’re behind them it does help. I know when I played sports I got pumped up by the crowd who came to see us play.

You do during the TV time outs when the the fans on one side of the stadium will hollers Dallas and the other side hollers Cowboys

I have to say not many like me, I refuse to boo the team I will shout out comments of encouragement like put that one behind you guys, lets go but refuse to boo my beloved Cowboys I never felt booing was any type of encouragement for any team. I may joke with fans of the other team but always in a joking manner never disrespecting them or treating them poorly. As said by games end I have lost my voice each and every single time. :laugh2:

You have to pace yourself. I always forget that and I am squeaky in the fourth quarter.

I have been known to holler worse than hell at a game. G damn it guys lets quite hurting ourselves. :laugh2: But again as a fan I always felt we are there to cheer our team on and I don't see how booing a team helps

Yeah, at Mavericks games they actually do that DURING gameplay.. you know... when it actually might have an effect on the other team....

I always have something to drink in my hand and it is easy for me to holler but after leaving I can't talk in a normal voice without it cracking for 2 to 3 days. By the way the drink is non alcoholic; I don't get ripped in public places any more. :laugh1:

From my experience Texas Stadium has always been pretty docile when it comes to crowd noise. We're not like Arrowhead/Mile High/Seattle when it comes to being loud.

Texas Stadium with its enclosed architecture type is perfect for generating noise and we'll need it this Sunday. We all know how Peyton loves to audible and we need to give the defense all the help it can get.

I'm hoping all the fans that go to the game know how big this one we'll be and are ready to scream their frickin' heads off.

Hey, if god had meant the Cowboy fans at Texas Stadium to be loud he would have made them New Yorkers with Philadelphians' values and Raider 'tudes.

Them fatashes at TS don't deserve the cowboys. :(

If it weren't for the faithful in the cheap seats you'd swear you were at a chamber concert session.

No 12th man at TS. Only nouveu riche "fans"

I've got this older couple who have seats next mine, and I make them stand up and yell the whole game. I'm sure they're really glad my seat is next to them.

No doubt it is a concept I wish our fans did more of. I will say when we have a team pinned back near their own goal line it always gets loud and I can swear it helps as the defense is pumped and the opposing team is having a hard time calling the play

Crowd noise will be very important in this game. The defense needs all the help they can get.

I'm with Doomsday101! The main reason I like going to the games is that I can yell my freakin' head off and feel like I'm helping the team win! It always seems to me that the crowd gets super loud at the games I've been to. I like to tell my family that I made the difference. :) But I also don't believe anything is accomplished by booing, and I can't talk for several days after a game either. I've also noticed that I'm not nearly as frustrated after a loss when I'm there in person to yell. I guess I feel like I'm in it with the team and we're all doing our part. Ok, I'm a Cowboys geek.

whatever dude, come to a game with me and then tell me that.

Then again I am from new york so, maybe that is why I am loud during games. ONe difference though, I am loud with dignity, I do not yell and swear in other peoples ears and I will be really careful what I say when there are children in my section.

Alot people here are giving texas stadium a bad rap. I must say I have been to every game but the recent giants game the last 4 years and last years crowds were excellent except the detroit game.

There is plenty of booing and the crowd the last two years has been very good on third downs.

Alot of the people here complaining about the stadium crowd noise are from different cities and only watch the game on tv.

Oh and Philly is not a loud stadium anymore. Not even close. Brad sham has commented the last three trips there how it is nothing like it used to be at the vet and the crowds are hardly noticable anymore. So you can put that to rest.

NY is a loud place and washington is the same as Dallas, considering how many cowboys fans are there.

The loudest place I have been to is Rich stadium in orchard park before the renovation when they used to get 82000 in there. Bills dolphins in the early 90s were the loudest crowds I have ever heard.

Texas stadium is right on par with all the other stadiums. I have not seen a stadium this year with overwhelming crowd noise. Not even in the dome stadiums.

The stadium will be rocking sunday. A 3:15 start allows all the church goers to get to the stadium at the start, the usual fans will be drinking earlier and then it is the payton manning led 9-0 colts against the Tony Romo starting debut at home cowboys.

The place will be rocking I guarantee you.

But our crowd knows when to get noisy. Against Bernie Kosar's Browns in the mid-eighties the crowd wisely got loud at the right time and forced Cleveland out of their no-huddle offense.

They also get louder when they smell blood. Mark Rypien's famous deer-in the headlights look in 1992 was a sign of things to come. I knew a former Washington player Mark Adickes who was close to the team at the time and he was saying that the Washington players had never heard Texas Stadium so loud.

I think the crowd will rise to the occasion against Indy if we can draw a little blood early.

As I said I have been to many Cowboys game and have seen the loud crowd and the sitting on their hands crowd at Texas Stadium. One place I was very impressed with was Baton Rouge when me and a girl friend went to see Alabama play LSU now that was a loud place.

Ah yes, the seasonal "bash fans at Texas Stadium" Thread.

- Mike G.

I have been to games where the crowd deserved to be bashed where large portion of the fans are sitting on their hands. Heck I have been to over 70 games at Texas Stadium over the years. I know we have loyal fans and we can get loud and have been to games where that is the case but yes they can be quite dossal at times in comparison of what I see at other stadiums.
