USC, Utah, and Texas all have legitimant cases to play for a National title.

I don't understand how anyone on planet earth can't see that.

OU and Florida deserve a shot to play for it too. But they weren't so special that they deserved a shot more than anyone else.

You already know as an OU fan that I agree with this.

In all honesty, you are making zero sense. You chimed in with the Eagles' empty trophy case analogy. YOU brought that up and then I simply responded back on that topic alone. You have no credibility attacking a poster here by lumping me in with the entire fanbase and if you are going to keep doing that, then I find no reason to respond defending myself further. OU DOES have more trophies and yes, I would rather go there ten times in a row and win 4 of them then get there two times and take them both.

It's due to the fact that every college football team has to play under these lame rules. We all have to abide by them and they were clearly set forth at the beginning of the season. I awaited anxiously every weekend to see where OU would end up. It was always a crapshoot just like it is with every team.

Heck, OU clawed their way to stay up there just like Texas did. Then all this crapfest happened with someone beating someone then that person beating the person who beat the other etc etc. The point I'm making is there are Horns fans who think they should be in and not OU, Im perfectly fine with that. I could see why. However, I can also see why my team should be there as well.

The difference is if you guys got there, I wouldn't blatantly disrespect your entire season by stating it's all a joke and you don't deserve anything. That's why I stick up for my team and comment back. Youll never see me doing this back and forth thing with a number of Horns fans because we all have a basic understanding that this BCS thing is flawed to the core but at least recognize that any of the top teams could be in the National Championship.

Not me. The two teams that were the most impressive from start to finish are playing for the crystal ball. Some people just can't accept that because neither of the teams are their own, or one of the teams they despise.

I know you don't fall into either of those, Rowdy. But I do think you know deep down who the two most deserving teams are. You're just possibly afraid to admit it because of silly sallies like Catch wanna go around and impose their faulty opinions to better their flawed bias.

Well, that's fine but this is about how you rank teams. IMO, there is no way OU should ever have jumped over Texas in week 14. In week 13, Texas was ranked 2, OU was ranked 3. We didn't lose and yet, we got jumped by OU. This does not sit well with me, and it shouldn't. Call me a whiner but if the sito was reversed, you wouldn't like it either.

Head to head, all BS aside, we beat you and as such, we are the better team. Now, if you want to make the claim that Tech is better then we are, I will agree with that. Tech is better because they beat us. If you wan't to make the claim that you are better then Tech cause you beat them, then I"m OK with that too. You are better because you beat them. However, it that's the road your going down, then you have to admit that we are better then OU because we proved it.

Now, I know it would be much more pleasent for OU fans if we just shut the heck up and went away. I recognize this but you know that's not going to happen and it shouldn't. You know this too. You can call us whiners or whatever but that's how it is.

I don't think UT's struggle against Oklahoma St. in Austin helped them any either.

People forget that UT just didn't look that great closing out the season. They looked like that did last night, average at best, and very beatable.

Strength of schedule is very close, OU 68.5 to Texas 68. Strenght of conference favored UT. What were the statement games to you?

Because this is like a broken record and I know I don't want to hash anything more than it already has and it seems you don't either. With your way of thinking, if Texas played us in week 2 and beat us and then you lost all the rest of your games and we won out the rest of the season. Then, we could never rise above what your record is or your ranking because you are "ranked" higher because you beat us in week 2 even though we won all the rest of the games. This is silly. If we were 1-12 and our only win was against OU, then of course I would say that OU was the better team. That was not the case thou. We were equal and in that scenario, as you well know, it's a very different matter indeed.
