Thank you Jerry

From an absolutely pure talent perspective there is a net gain with Pickens as WR2 while losing Cooks as WR2.

All the other surrounding circumstances TBD.

But yep, credit where credit is due on a talent upgrade at a position of need.

yea thx for doing ur job jerry we love u

u got them trained good jerry i will give u that

So, am I only supposed to complain about him? I was very harsh with him last year. I'm glad to see effort, unlike last year. So, if I'm going to be critical of someone, then, when they do well, then I'll give them credit for it. Only fair

I do not mean this in a sarcastic manner. I actually do mean it when I say "Thank you Jerry." I ripped him to pieces last year when I felt he wasn't showing effort. This offseason, I do see effort from him. So, with that, I must credit him for the effort. I'm NOT sure how the season will go, but I do see effort to try to improve the team. For that, I'm glad to see.

Aside from the Mingo trade, I like the moves we have made in the trades. I like the draft. I'm onboard with the Pickens trade. Is it just me, or is Jerry actually keeping relatively quiet and actually doing something? So, yeah, thank you Jerry for showing effort this offseason.
OMG, Jerry did it again. he made a splashy move and brought back hope to all the sucker fans out there who bought it.

I predicted this type of move in the middle of last season. Jerry is so predictable and so are gullible fans like yourself.

Mingo trade was utterly stupid. and now with this trade a failed trade. and we rented a WR for one year. when he is gone and we end up with a lower pick than the one we gave, essentially trading down for nothing.

Jerry makes one year moves. its a marketing ploy. NFL is year to year and this year, he made this move and brought all you suckers back. Jerry is going Cha Ching.

The Cowboys are considerably better on paper and some of you are mad about it lol.

Players win games. We got one.

The Cowboys culture in the 90s involved a lot of things worse than a bad attitude by a WR.
does this move make us a championship calibur team? are we going to the superbowl this year?
a one year rental, subsequently having traded down the pick for nothing.
Jerry makes one year moves. he doesn't have to worry about next year. he has to generate interest this year. because most fans live year to year and forget the other 30 (except a few).
and Jerry has won again. he made his move. he generated hope and people are drooling at the mouth.

let me predict what will happen. offense will be better. defense will suck. we will lose some high scoring games. people (including yourself) will blame Dak. we may or may not reach playoffs, if we do, we will most probably lose in the first round. people will blame Dak. and wash, rinse, repeat.

see the pattern?

ALL I'm saying is I'm glad to see effort, unlike last year. We'd be furious if the Eagles made this move instead of us. I'm not saying Jerry is the new Howie Roseman. But, if I'm going to be harsh with him when he does poorly like I was last year, then I have to give him props when he does something well. And, to me, this trade was good, and I liked the draft, and I've liked a lot of the other trades this offseason.

Because we didn't have a number 2 WR, and we just got one who, when he's not having crash outs, is one of the best WRs in the league, especially in the deep ball.

Exactly, gotta give Jerry props when it's due. We'd be blowing up of the Eagles made this trade instead of us.
the eagles invested heavily on defense. they had #1 defense last year and spent their first 5 picks this year on defense. if they made a move like this, it would be to build a dynasty. not appease the fans.

we spent a 7th round pick on couple of DTs and fans are going gaga!
