Quick question for you Sam. Have you guys upgrade to VMware 5 yet ? We just started last night updated are Vcenter server last night to VMare 5 and will start the ESX host next week

Actually, we are in the process of converting away from VMWare to Redhat's KVM.

We use SCCM to manage over 500 + remote locations. It's a bit of a pain considering bandwidth, but we scedule the push during none peak hours, so it's doable.

For apt complexes and pc's, why not just run zero client devices?

I just got done upgrading to vsphere 5 myself. Nice features like distrubited switches and storage DRS. Very easy to install (Had to install for my ESX 3.5 hosts, did upgrades from my vsphere4 hosts).
